The queen laid down the bird and marked her lips together, feeling a tiny feather get lodged between teeth. Sandsong was a small cat, her legs thin and lean but gained fat with each day, as did the rest of her body. "Eh, I'm alright for how things are." She said in a mumbled tone, ears rolling left and right before pressing against the back of her head. Has she ever talked to Snowclaw? Had she ever talked to any of the cats here? Sure, one time it felt like they were all her friend but now ever thing was so distant... Even Hazelstream. Before she opened her maw to speak Sandsong looked for her mothers fiery pelt, nothing... "I'm guessing you are doing alright too?" She bent her head down and tried to rip in to the bird, spitting out another feather as she did.

The tom quickly lapped at the tangles in his fur, a small purr escaping the bottom of his throat as he pulled away from his ginger pelt. Yea, he still looked like crap but at least it was better than before and that's all he was looking for. Something better. He stood quickly and felt his fur fall before catching the wind, sticking out in all directions. Great. His brow knitted together as he looked at his hind only for a moment before letting out a heavy sigh and walking to the edge of camp, taking in the scent that swirled through the wind and all around him. It smelled sweet. He turned his head to the apprentice and gave her a small smile, ears flicking. "Hey Fallenpaw."

The she-cat bent her head down close to the ground before taking in a heavy breath of air and leaping at prey that scurried across the forest floor. She missed, her claws digging into the dirt. "No!" She hissed out in anger before her ears flipped down and she remembered where she was, no doubt other prey herd her. "Dang it.." Hazlestream let out a thick sigh and turned her head so she could scan the area around her, maybe there was a stupid vole close by. Lifting her claws from the ground she began to turn her body and walk deeper into the forest, trying to not let her scent get caught in the wind.

Leopardwing returned with marigold and burdock root. She padded to Blizzardfire and dropped them at his paws. °I managed to also find some extra Burdock root in case any other cats decide to venture near the rats nest.°

Spiderpaw nodded at the names."Well in the end it will be chosen for me."

Blizzardfire heard a cat and turned to see Leopardwing with marigold and burdock root. He had forgotten that the rats were an issue and was glad she had gotten the useful herb."Thanks a lot Leopardwing. That burdock will be helpful."
