briareyes shuffled closer to the cover of camp walls, trying to get away from so many curious glances. she was sure swiftleap would answer the strange cat's questions. she had ignored cedarclaw, but did realize the tom had managed to irritate Asphodel. she quietly hoped that the tom would leave the new cat alone.

cedarclaw scoffed, getting away from where he had been. "I'm going for a walk, the camp smells",he meowed loudly, leaving camp with the flutter of his gray tail. he seemed to have little patience, or understanding, for any kind of stranger.

Pantherpaw sat in camp boredom lacing his gaze. His black fur was fluffed up as he awaited something to do,but nothing came to mind so he just sat there. With a yawn,he lays down,putting his head in between his paws. Closing his eyes he began to fall into a light sleep,purring as he dreamed of chasing a mouse through the territory.

Lavenderpaw sat in the entrance to the apprentices den as the ceremony.The she-cat begins to remember her own apprentice ceremony, a bit fondly. Shaking her head slightly, she stands up,walking towards the other cats. She had nothing else to do,so she began to look for her mentor,wanting to see if Willowhisper had anything for her to do today.

"It's alright Briareyes." Swiftleap said his voice softer when he spoke to her. He moved closer to Asphodel "Hey!" he snapped at his clan mates "This isn't amateur hour! Mind your own business. We're waiting for Snowstar or Embergaze not sittin here so you can all yap." he forced his fur to lay flat. He could tell Briareyes was getting uncomfortable, and he was sure Asphodel was as well. And that was enough for him to get snippy.

Hawktalon perked his ears and looked around struggling to keep his fur from rising. He hated the twoleg place.. "So this kitty pet must be her brother then.. She must have told him about the Clan.." he frowned looking unsure. "He can't come back into camp like that.. If Snowstar or Embergaze were there... That would have ended badly for both him and Fatespeaker.." he said. "What do you think we should do?" he asked.

Embergaze pinned her ears against her head "I wouldn't interrogate you.." she replied her voice soft. "What right would I even have? I'm just like you.." she looked at him her eyes full of sadness. "It's not that easy to love someone you're assigned to.. Someone you hardly know.." she looked away. "It's suppose to be easy.. For some cats it is.. But for others it's not.." she stared at the ground now, unable to look at him. It would be so easy now, wouldn't it? But he'd never like her of all cats. Not when there were plenty more she-cats back at camp..

Cloudsong bounded through the forest, unaware of Nettleleap hunting. She spotted a large rabbit nearby, surprised she hadn't frightened it off with her loud pawsteps, trudging through the undergrowth. She sprinted off and barreled into Nettleleap who was close.

briareyes put her tail tip on the cat's side, in an act of comfort. "cedarclaw didn't mean it, he just doesn't like new cats much",she played down the tom's aggressive mannerisms toward cats outside of the clan. she glanced around camp, seeing if there were any other cats staring at Asphodel and the group.

"They're prickly. Gotta love em." Swiftleap shrugged as he sat back down. A goofy grin reappearing on his face, his usual manner returning. "You're an unknown cat, they don't like strangers for good reason. Never know what they're gonna do. They'll calm down after you've spoken to those in charge." he said.

The brown tabby looked at Joltheart then said "Follow my lead." he said as he trotted forward quickly. He stopped, lifting his head up and sending a cold glare at the two kitty pets. "Alright softie, wanna explain what you were doing exactly inside our camp?" he asked focusing his attention on Luke. "And why you've been talking to one of our warriors. Are you looking for trouble? because that's what you're going to cause both of you. The Clan doesn't tolerate things like this." he said glancing towards Joltheart for her to back him up. In truth, he wasn't completely sure, though he figured Embergaze would freak out. Probably Snowstar too, considering it was an unknown cat waltzing in without an invitation.
