MallowFern lied within the confines of her herb-scented, vine-filled, cold den. Waking up from her slumber with drowsy eyes and a tired soul almost begging her to shut her eyes for a little while longer, but she refused. Getting up she looked at the endless bounties of herbs, she sighed, 'another day another bounty of herbs to sort and mix and...' she let her thoughts trail off other ways while she stand in a somewhat trance, thinking and yet not at the same time. She sighed as she snapped out of it, her eyes swayed into the direction of the entrance of the den, walking to it she sat on the edge of the rocks above the small camp, she sighed once more, closing her eyes and feeling the breeze in her ragged pelt.

Pikepaw sat his head up from his slumber, seeing his sister fast asleep beside him, as usuall. He smiled tiredly and licked his sister on the head, "Wake up sleepy head" her mewed to his sister playfully, but to his not so much surprise she mewed "just a lil while longer, i was about to catch the fox...." rather sleepily, he chuckled, "fine, but you better be awake when i get back" and as his words, he got up slowly and carefully not to wake up or bother his sister anymore, walking to the fresh kill pile he realized the only things left where a few mice and a nice juicy thrush, he looked to his sides, only to make sure no one else had called dibs before her took the thrush and a mouse, carrying his prize he saw houndpaw, one of his friends, "hows it going?" he said smoothly as he tried to talk and keep him and his sisters breakfast within his grip.

Tansypaw snored, slowly waking up and waiting for her brother to get back, as she waited she saw Smokepaw leave the den and decided it would be a nice time to talk to someone, considering that Pikepaw was probably busy doing something else as well as get breakfast for them, she walked up behind him and slowly sat down, as to not disturb him before she mewed, "bright out isn' it? the sun is just so pretty today..".

Tansypaw smiled while gazing to the fresh kill pile, breakfast did sound good sense she barely ate last night, as she turned to Smokepaw with a smile too big for her face she excitedly said "of course! breakfast sounds like a great way to start the day!".

Mistscar raced closer to the mouse, his paws racing across the marsh that he called home, into the grassland in Rainclan territory. He got so closed he could almost taste it- Mistscar's head shot upas he heard bushes rustle. His eyes narrowed as he flicked his scarred ear. IT won't hurt to sleep a bit longer... And with that, the old tom fell back to sleep.

"Good catch." Brambleheart gave a respectful nod to Shadeclaw. Without waiting for a response, Brambleheart turned. Her gaze focused on a vole, scurrying in the nearby tall grass. She took one more glance back at Shadeclaw before leaping on the oblivious creature and swiftly taking its life. She did the same as her hunting partner, thanking StarClan for the life of the vole, before taking it in her mouth and trotting back to Shadeclaw.

"Lots of prey today." Brambleheart commented happily.

Pikepaw only chuckled at the others statment, "i wish, as if they would even let me take this for myself let alone take anything larger than a mouse or two" he joked as he sat down a foxlength away from the other, "Nah this was gonna be for my sister, but by the looks of it, she is off with old ashtray over there" he said mockingly and kinda angrily as her moved his tail to point to them going near the fresh kill pile, "ill get back at 'em later, but aye sense she ain't gonna eat this, you want it?" he said as he dropped the tender and fresh thrush next to the other apprentice.

Tansypaw's face lit up with happiness at the act of the fellow apprentice, she began to trot with happiness along side the slightly taller apprentice, purring in excitement as she didn't have many friends, most of them were often scared off by her brother, or were flat out scared of her because her brother, but for once she actually could talk to another cat without her brother with her or off to the side stalking her, speaking of him where is he?
