((let's see Flurry told Babe that she can't gallop or cantar that she needs to take it slow, Thunder and Dare and Trevellon are up by the mountain lion fighting it off)

(( where to begin......ok the herds are traveling together, Babe was attacked by a mountain lion, and Star is being attacked also Helios and Souix are being attcked to but by a different cat. Dreamer and Summit just had an awkward kissing moment, and Freather and Rose are still pissed about Helios, Wind is just kinda there not doing anything. and Flurry is lossing face with the other mares Rain and Babe. whew! i think thats it))

((alright, cool, thanks so much you two... Sparrow, wherever you are, maybe Helios could come help Star))

Helios snorted, stepping protectively in front of Souix, lowering his head and snapping his teeth together. He dared the large cat to make its move, but still it stayed, glaring at them, his tail flicking side to side...

The silver stallion reared, slashing his front hooves fiercely through the air, then dropping he stepped towards the big cat, and it did too. He looked back to Dare, and then down to Trevellon. " Stay put, alright? " Thunder said, before turning back to the cat who was eying the yearling colt.

She snorted angrily and snatched up another mouthful of grass. " The nerve of some stallions. " Rose spat, before looking to Feather and Wind.

Summit grinned and nuzzled Dreamer, his cheeks still hot with blush.

Feather just nodded, her sides still heaving from her pent up passion. her breaths eventualy slowed, the raging fire fading from her dark eyes. she just nodded "i pray he does not follow our herd when we move to the winter territory" she said her voice soft, yet strong and meaningful she would drive Helios away from the herd without a backwards glance. then a strange recolectin entered her mind of a fistey young mare who love to tease stallions with her speed and beauty what have i become, what have i lost? she thought in dismay as her not-so-long-ago self galloped from view.

Dremer licked Summit's ear, "can i tell you a secret?" she wispered softly to the colt, her voice light and sing-songy.

The mare nodded and snorted. " But he and Wind are good friends... who knows what will become of that dreaded horse. " Rose said, looking back to Feather with concerned eyes.

He smiled and kissed her cheek. " You can tell me anything. " Summit said softly with a grin.

"who knowes and who cares" Feather snorted, "i think i'm going to go for a gallop" she added spur of the moment and wheeled around, her hocks almost thouching the ground and propelled herself forward. her mane and tail flying as she gained speed, she faltened her ears back against her skull and closed her eyes slightly from the buffeting wind caused by her thundering hooves

Dreamer heald her tail aloft with suspense as she wispered even softer to the bay pinto colt than before, her voice holding an alluring tone "i think i'm falling for you Summit"

"I'm sorry I wasnt' closer." Wind murmured, licking Rose's nose. "Helios won't try to hurt or take you now that he knows that you are with me."

Star let out a whinny of pain, blood pouring from her wounds. The cougar that had been attacking her had left, moving on as he found that he was dealing with a much harder target.

Flurry rushed over to the gut-renching sound of pain coming from Star, "Star, oh my god!" she breathed her eyes wide with sheer terror and shock not now, not right before we move she thought defeated. she galloped to a nearby tree, ripping clumps of half-frost killed litchen from its bark with her blunt teeth. her hooves carried her back to the mare "Star, everything will be fine, you will be ok" she soothed as she pressed the moss into her wounds to stop the seeping blood, trying to console shaking herself more than the sickly looking mare she tended to.

((Helios and Souix are close, so I'll have him come check up on her))

The stallion snorted loudly as the cat slowly raised its body from the ground. It hissed and slowly sauntered forward, red covering its paws. Helios whinnied, realizing that it had attacked another horse before, and now, it dared to attack him. The cat jumped forward, claws extended and all, but only to meet Helios' front hooves as he reared up. It fell, and growled, only for Helios to land onto its tail. It yowled loudly, then took off when he stepped to the side. Good riddance. Then he looked to Souix and neighed, before galloping off to see if he could find the horse this cat had injured. When he spotted two mares in the distance, he neighed loudly, " Is everything alright? "

He blushed again, and lipped softly at her tassels. " And I know I've fallen for you... " Summit answered, flicking his tail side to side.

She sighed heavily, watching as Feather took off. Rose snorted and nuzzled Wind's shoulder. " Its alright... I'm fine, but Feather and I aren't so sure of him... " The mare said softly, before dipping her head to graze, flicking her tail and spreading her heat scent.
