Trevellon looked up to see Babe,Rain,and Flurry grouped together.He all of a sudden felt frisky and bolted over.But his mood dropped and so did his gait as he saw blood running down Babe's leg.He stopped pefectly examing her leg and snorted "Mountain lion."He had seen these attacks alot in his past years.

Trevellon snorted he didn't like the fact that mountain lions where so close to the herds border lines for now.Neither did he like how close other stallions where.Trevellon whipped around and bolted away.He was going to track down every mountain lion he could find and make sure they never stepped foot near his fathers herd again.

His thundered back, hearing her calls. He slows at her side, already smelling the danger. Then, his eyes catch a movement in the grass, and he rears just in time to face a large cat. Helios slashes his large hooves at the mountain lion, and it falls, only to jump for his throat and beginning to claw him...

" Its alright... " Summit says somewhat shyly, pressing his muzzle closer to hers. He felt her warm breath, and then, kissed her cheek. Now his face grew a deep ruby, and he smiled.

((Umm... no lead mare yet, and Trevellon won't be run out till he's 2 or 2 and 1/2))

Thunder smirked and pranced after her, lipping softly at her tassels. " Playing hard to get now are we? " He murmured with a smirk. Soon, he heard Flurry's cry, and looked to Dare, his eyes begging her to follow. Then he spun around and took off, already seeing the pack. He stood in place, flicking his tail, ready for them to attack....

Rain looked around to see if there was any mountain lions around, soon she spotted Thunder going towards the pack of mountain lions. - oh geez- Rain thought. As she turned back to Babe.

Oh follow him she did right behind him like a duckling following it's mother.Dare stood beside him.Eyes glared and teeth bared she snaked her head down like a stallion rounding of his mares.She took a lundging jump toward one and it back ed away.She snorted and reared up ears pinned as a peircing cry escaped her muzzle.

Trevellon galloped after them and stood beside Thunder.

Flurry gently helped Babe lay down on her side, the blood begining to febly clot. she chewed the marigold in her mouth, its bitter tasting juice flodding her mouth unpleasntly. she spit out the pulp on Babe's wound "this may sting a bit, but don't move a muscle" she said casting an apologetic glance to the mare, she spread the pulp the length of the wound with her muzzle careful the not put to much pressure on the Babe's leg. the pulp began to harden forming a coating over her leg, she have a half-hearted smile then quickly cantered over to her seemingly bottomless pack and grabed the long flat waxy leaves she sometimes found around the hills. when she reaturned the marigold pulp had almost set, she carefuly laid the waxy leaves over the pulp they easily stuck, forming a sort of cast over her wound. Flurry pulled her head up to examine her work "your lucky the cut was not that deep" she commented "I don't know if this would have been as easy to fix if it was. never the less you will need to take it easy, no trotting or cantering your thigh wouldn't be able to take it for the next, eh...about two weeks" she said looking over to Babe, "but for now you need rest" she said tempted to lay down and rest with the mare hereslf, but she reatrained choosing insted to graze by Babe as to keep an eye on her.

*But what am I going to do? aren't we going to move in the next two weeks? I'll need to out run all the dangers!" She said worried.

Rain looked at Flurry then at Babe she shook her head, "I don't know what you are goin to do, Flurry what are we going to do?" Rain asked.

"we will move slower, with your injury and three foals from both herds..." she trailed off "well i think there may be four" she leaned in closer "one of Wind's mares looked pregnant" she said her muzzle filling with the smile of someone how has just heard great gossip. then she added more casualy "we will have two stallions and two colts with us, since the herds are moving together in a temporary truce"
