Feather tossed and turned letting out a scream as her memorys tortoured her in a all too reall nightmare

-a flame bellowed in front of her eyes, she screamed and ran the other way-

-"Feather! common!" Opal cried "Feather! run!" she heard her but only barley, as she smoke made her gag and choke, her vision red tinted-

((she is having flash backs of the fire that destroyed her stable and almost killed her just, in a way explaining what happened to her before she came to the herds))

Dreamer cantered after the spotted colt whinning with delight, as she ran ahead of him and splashed in a small creek.

She smiled and tugged softly at his locks then lipped softly at his shoulder. " You're not Thunder, so I'm sure you won't. " Rose said softly, before stepping back and nibbling the grass. Her tail swished softly side to side, and snorted softly.

Thunder nickered frantically, and tugged Feather's mane softly. " Please wake up... " He said, not knowing what to do.

The colt laughed and bounded happily after her, splashing back and then bolting away. But when he saw Feather on the ground, he looked to Dreamer and nickered. He galloped over to Feather and tugged her ear. " Momma, I mean, Feather, please wake up! " Summit said, licking her cheek softly and beginning to cry. He'd already lost his first mother, he didn't want anything to happen to Feather.

Souix shakes her head, she thinks to herself, "Everything was fine, until the mare came. The wranglers had come a couple days after Souix accepted the mare into her herd. Souix had taken all the mares & foals into the tunnels in the mountains that would bring them into the valley below. Souix herself was in foal, most of the mares were too. Cheyenne was Souix's best friend, but they were separated in the tunnels, at that time, Souix thought she was the only one who survived. Later that day Souix had given birth to a filly, but after walking down the Mountain, both were tired, a snowstorm hit early, temperatures dropped. Souix's filly didn't make it. Tears start to run down Souix's face, then she looks away. Souix makes her way down to the small stream & starts to drink the cold icy water.

Feather laid completely still as the visions took her.

-the stable door had been flung open, and the smoke draped the horses in a deathly cloud-

-Feather ran, her friend Opal at her side, they bolted out over the pebbled path the flames chasing them out of the grounds, Opal began to choke and gag her face covered in soot.-

-a single tear ran down her cheek as she watched Opal take a last shuddering breath-

Feather coughed as if the smoke still filled her lungs as it had that day, she opened a single blue-grey eye and blinked her vision blurry, all she could see here the forms of horses looking down at her and the glint of sunlight on water.

Dreamer ran after the colt "wait up!" she whinned, then she saw a light brown mare with faint stripes on her legs, laying on the ground seemingly dead "oh" she wispered, to stuned to speak.

"Feather, Feather, come on Feather," Rain said. Rain watched Souix go over to the water. Rain walked over, "Souix what's wrong?" Rain asked softly.

Honey ate some grass. She didn't know any other mares, so she had no one to talk to.

Feather coughed again, and lifted her dished head up, her head rang like a bee's nest. "Wind" she spoke feebly the first name that came to her mind. she felt like she had really swallowed smoke and she coughed again.

Rain's ears pricked up to the sound of Feather's voice.-I will let Thunder deal with Feather, not like she has done anything bad, just i am not good with these situations.- Rain thought. She saw a new mare... well one she hasn't seen before. Rain cantared over, "hey i am Rain, are you new, i haven't seen you before." She said to the new mare. (she is talking to Honey)
