Feather looked down at the foal who had wedged himself into her side, and licked his tiny forelock softly "but Summit, i dont have any milk...." she said.

Rain trots away from this situation... wanting a foal of her own even if she just fosters it.
-what ever, i am already happy- she thought. starting to graze. (okay i am going to go now, hopefully i can make it off without wantting to come back in 20 seconds. lol its 1:22am here. yikes i have to get up at 9 am. geez better go to bed. night peeps.)

While Souix was looking down, she immediatly pops her head back up with an idea. "Thunder, why don't I go with them, then Summit can still be near Feather, but I will also be able to nurse him." Souix looks at Thunder, but she turns her head to look for Trevellon who was no where in sight. Then she turns her head back around.

She smiled and tugged softly at his locks then lipped softly at his shoulder. " You're not Thunder, so I'm sure you won't. " Rose said softly, before stepping back and nibbling the grass. Her tail swished softly side to side, and snorted softly.

Thunder couldn't help but feel bad for the colt, and he sighed heavily. He thought about the situation and shook himself. " But love, what if Wind keeps you there? And not only that, but Trevellon and Dreamer need you. " He said, looking over to the two foals in the herd. The stallion sighed, unsure of what to do. " Feather, do you think you could bring him back once a day to have him feed? " Thunder asked, unable to come up with any other plan.

The tears ran in a stream down his face, and his vision was blurred by the burning drops. Her lick calmed him some, and then he kissed her shoulder. " I don't care... I want to stay with you Feather... " When he heard Thunder's plan, his eyes lit up and he bobbed his head up and down eagerly. Then he trotted to Souix and nuzzled her. " I'm Summit... " He said before nursing. A few minutes later, he felt full for the first time. " Thank-you ma'am... " The colt said, before trotting over to Feather again, hoping she'd take him home...

Souix looks down & nuzzles Summit, "Your quite welcome", then she looks up at Thunder. "Lets see how Summit does if Feather brings him once a day to feed." Souix agrees with Thunders plan.

Bell Boe snorted,her nostrils filling with the cool,winter air. She stood from her laying position and began to trot off towards a source of water. Her throat was arid and needed the refreshment. She soon found a little stream and dipped her head down to drink. The cool water filled her mouth,cooling her throat. She dipped her head back up and shook her dome,her mane shaking before it lay flat again.

Feather nodded to Thunder, "i can do that, but Wind..... i dont know what he would think" she said uneasy. she flicked the colt with her tail softly, as if to say 'dont worry'.

"i soppose..... though speaking of Wind, i have no idea where his disapered to, we were about to-" she stopped herself as her cheeks flushed red "well, anyway i have no idea where he has gone off to" she finished looking to Thunder with eyes pleading for an answer.
