The stallion smiles and begins to groom her shoulder again, gently nibbling the fine hairs.

Shade, waited about 20 yards away from Rose his ears pricked for the sounds of his approaching mother and father. He turned feeling Rose's emotions stop as she blacked out. "autie Rose!" he called trotting over to her stary form, it was fading the stream of emotions that formed the shapes he saw diminishing as she two lost the emotion.
... Shade looked at the new shimmering form, he licked the little (filly?) like Rose helping her warm the newborn. "what's her name?" he asked shifting his sightless eyes to the roan mare.

((the forms Shade 'sees' come from the emotions horses emit if the horse is asleep he can't see them, but if they are trying to hide their emotions he can still feel and 'see' them.))

Feather flew alongside Wind, her hooves striking the ground as she stretched out her neck like the racehorse she was bred to be, bred for the next racehorses and he countless generations beyond. "Wind" she said her breath unhindered by the frantic pace, "Shade is with Rose, what will we do if she is already coaling?" she asked trying to push the hard but inevitable thought from her mind.

Brandy looked up at Helios. "I love you Helios." She said her eyes twinkling with happiness.

She smiled and looked over to Shade. " I think I'll name her...Ebony... " Rose said softly, then continued to groom her filly.

The stallion grins and nuzzles her forehead. " And I love you too Brandy. "

Braandy pushed her head into his chest once more, than looked up at him. "I better go to bed. Good night." She said, waling back over to Splash, she laid beside her, putting her head on her neck, and fell asleep.

Shade smiled, the sweet scent wafting of the filly surrounding him "Ebony?" he asked "why?"

Rain walks beside Thunder; they where in sight of the herd.
Miracle looks around and stands up, she spots her mother, "mommy! Daddy!" she yells galloping over to them.
Rain nuzzels Miracle on the cheek, "hey sweety," she says softly.

Wind didn't answer Feather, instead, he slowed, spotting Rose, his newest filly, and Shade. "Oh Rose." He whispered, folding his legs underneath him so he could lay beside her and the new foal.
