Riverflame watched Heartkit and Treekit play. She yawned, taking care of these kits was so hard. They were always bouncing around and keeping her up at night. She looked forward to the day when the would be apprenticed so she could get a decent night's sleep.

Heartkit yowled, "Pinned ya!" She laughed as Treekit struggled furiously under his sister's weight. Treekit humphed and shoved upwards, sending Heartkit straight into Skytail. Skytail meowing in surprise. He gently pushed Heartkit back up, licking her head. Heartkit ducked from her father. Skytail padded over to Riverflame, laid down next to her and watched their kits.

Heartkit tumbled off of Treekit, she started to yawn but Treekit took the advantage and pounced on his sister. "Oof!" Heartkit said as the air wooshed out of her. She batted Treekit's stomach. He fell off laughing, rolling on the ground. Heartkit glared at him. "Hmph."
"Mommy! When are Treekit and I going to be apprenticed! Were almost more than 6 moons old!"
