Distin heard the barking of dogs stop and he went still. The dogs could be anywhere. he thought, thankful large animals wouldn't be able to get in their den. He heard distant cries of agony and he turned to Pixeltail. "Something's definitely wrong." he said before glancing back in the direction of the wailing, his tail lashing and eyes narrowed. He wasn't quite sure whether he hoped he could avoid the dogs altogether, or rip his claws through their pelts. "Do you want to check on your clan? I could come too if you'd like. Just to make sure dogs don't attack you on your way over." He offered.

With Foxstars death and the dog attack Lunakitalmost forgot the mos important thing....She jumped up excitement shining in her eyes even if her leader was dead. "Come on!" she yowled "stop sitting around and doing nothing!" she yowled at her clan (Foxsat was buried) "Foxstar wouldn't want us sitting arond doing nothing? Would he?" Lunarkit was always good at speeches, and she foun some of the cats agreeing with her, it gave her the courage that she needed to continue "leaf-bare is coming soon, and all we're doing is sitting around! We need to stock up on our fresh kill" Lunarkit may have not showed it but all she felt like doing was curling up and crying. "It's a new moon! We should be celebrating!" she found that the cats were nodding in agreement now, "Foxstar didn't die for nothing, did she?" she heard Brownbird say "she died for this clan to THRIVE!" Brownbird yelled. Lunarkit nodded in satisfaction and sat back down beside Dovekit his eyes full of wonder and a sudden happieness.

WaterShadow sighed, "Lunarkit, I understand you are upset, but it is tradition and our way of showing respect to those who have fallen. We help Foxstar make her way to Starclan. We will carry on with our duties tomorrow. But tonight we will share tongues with our leader one last time." WaterShadow have the lot a form look, she understood that she was upset but this was the way of the clan, a tradition to make sure the fallen knew that we would remember them and honor them.

The she-cat nodded her head toward Watershadow. "We must pay our respects to Foxstar one last time tonight." She agreed.

Flamepaw

The young tom didn't know what to do. Grief welled inside him, he was scared for the future of his clan. The only leader he had ever known was Foxstar, and now she was gone. He mourned with his clannmates.

Stormy

The young kit's fur prickled slowly as she felt the unfamiliar cat groom her fur. She was shocked, to scared to move, and nervous that the bigger cat would come back.

Stormy flicked her tail at Penguin, not convinced. At that moment her stomach growled, the kit curled herself into a tighter ball embarrassed.

Bravepaw finally joined his clanmates with Foxstar, he sat there in silence. Even if he was just an apprentice he knew that the clan was going through rough times.
