Embereyes was confused yet intrigued by her sudden sullenness, but didn't probe any further, as that would only upset her."Well I won't take my leader to you, but maybe, I'll take you to my leader." He grumbled, paws shifting as he took up a more dominant stance. "Either way, get down out of that tree first." He hissed, stepping back to stand next to Clawpaw, but his eyes remained fixated on the brown and cream she-cat.

Cedar shook her head. "I'm not going into your camp." She hissed, leaving out the last part. What if somebody recognized Me? I'm not ready to meet everyone head on. She thought. "Please. At least tell them where I am and give them an option to come."

"Glad to know." Patchshadow frowned, seeing as even she didn't have much to say. His ears swiveled as he made an attempt to eavesdrop in on any other conversations, but it yielded nothing of value. He mewed as he stalked off, "Well, I've got things to do." However, in reality, he didn't. He sat in the clearing, looking a little lost.

Embereyes' tail flicked behind with a mix of negative emotions. He was tempted to find a way up there and just chase her off the territory, but he couldn't climb to save his life. His single option was to call Wolfstar over. He whispered to Clawpaw, "Watch her until I come back." He then dashed off to the main camp.

Cedar relaxed and lay down on her branch. She waited patiently for his return tail swaying below her. She closed her eyes, listening for the sound of pawsteps.

Embereyes dashed into camp, scanning the clearing for Wolfstar. Up by his den, as per usual, Embereyes padded over, dipping his head in respect. "Sorry to bother Wolfstar, but a loner named Cedar wishes to speak with you. She said she won't budge until you come." He trailed off, tail swishing nervously.

Clawpaw looked at Cedar, rembering something. "Did you know that I did train to be a medicine cat? I quit, though. I wasn't made to sort herbs, but was made to pummel other cats down!" The gray tom asked, his voice clouded with longing. Clawpaw looked away and back at Cedar. "And have you ever wanted to.. to tear somebody apart? Into shreds? I have." The tom smirked devilishly, his violent thoughts getting the best of him. Clawpaw loved fights, and not many people knew this. Well, some people did.

Cedar listened. "It takes a lot to be a medicine cat. You know your not right for it usually." She said wisely, tail flicking. "Is shredding part of the warrior Code? " She already knew the answer but it would reveal her secret.

"Nuh-uh! I'd get exiled if I ever told any of my clanmates." Clawpaw shook his head, suddenly realizing that his warrior ceremony was tomorrow. "Tomorrow I'll be sent off to the Tom Camp! Then I'll be assigned a mate.. Bluh! It's not like I like anybody anyway!" Clawpaw sighed, frowning a bit. He thought about Silverpaw and Littlepaw. "All of my siblings hate the rule. If you don't love anyone, why deal with having a mate?" Clawpaw rolled in some grass, remembering the times when Clawpaw tried flirting and failed horrendously. That was why he didn't need love right now. He'd love to have a mate, but wished that he could pick who he loved instead of being forced.
