Tawnysong nodded in understanding to Redfeather's command and followed him to the bushes, hoping everyone else was following as well. "What's the plan?" She spoke up louder then she usually talked, but it was quiet enough to not gain any attention from the twolegs.

Following his mother, he as well looked at the entrance expectantly, only to be met with nothing. "Everything will be alright." He assured her, but he was also hoping to assure himself. Something did feel off. "If anything takes them, I know the warriors out on the patrol will fight for them and we will too." His tail brushed against her back repeatedly, trying to calm her nerves.

He twitched his ear in frustration and anxiously. He could only hear the twolegs speak gibberish and thats all they said "How many have we caught so far?" One twoleg asked "four, the three we caught are pretty young. The last one is a white and looks to be around 2 years" the second twoleg told him "Should we catch some more?" Another twoleg asked "Sure, Get some around here look in every bush, anything that they would look like to hide from us they xant be far." The leading twoleg said as the twolegs scattered to find the patrol

Redfeather glanced back as the warrior spoke to him. "If we can get to the monsters, maybe we can get inside them and free the apprentices. We have to do that without-" he was cut off as a wire collar wrapped around his throat. Hissing and spitting, he was dragged to a cage and shoved inside. He tried to fight against collar and cage, but the collar was attached to a pole that would not let him get the twolegs.
"If I get my claws on you, I'll rip your stupid, furless, pelts off you flea bags!" He screeched as the cage was loaded into the white monster.

Tatteredfur looked in Oakfur's eyes. She gave him a faint smile when he touched her with his tail.
"I hope to Starclan that you're right." She muttered quietly. Her tail wrapped around her paws as she sat down, looking back at the entrance.

She pushed the mouse to him with her paw. "I tasted some of your Kittypet food, but it was so bad. I felt bad for you, so I got you some real food."

Muffin looked at the mouse curiously, prodding it with his paw. He took a bite, chewing it slowly. He smiled, pulling it closer as he dug in. They were right. Compared to this, his kibble was rather disgusting. He pushed aside the remains after he finished, licking his lips again and again. "That was great!" He stood up, stretching, suddenly friendly. "Who are you?" He asked the white and brown she-cat, Halfpaw's 'mentor.'

Quailspots purred with amusement as he watched the kittypet dig into the mouse. It was kind of sad really, some cats may never even get a taste of freshkill. Suddenly, he seemed much more amiable, bounding forward. Quailspots answered, "I'm Quailspots." She stopped, sniffing around the outside of the twoleg den. They sure had a taste for decoration. Many pretty flowers and plants decorated the otherwise bland den. She asked, "Hey Halfpaw, do you want to hang around here for a bit? Wouldn't do any hurt!" She chuckled, sneezing as she smelled a pollen-filled flower again. She felt like a kit again, exploring all these new places and things.

"Mouse dung," Flintpaw said standing to her feet again as she heard what sounded like another cat which was most likely another member of their patrol. She flung her shoulder into the mesh that made up her cage desperately. They needed to escape if the rest of their patrol had also been captured.

Cedar trotted through the forest. She breathed in the cool scents and sighed. Her paws took her to the river where she lapped the cool crisp water. Sighing, she climbed a tree and scooped an baby squirrel out of its nest. Ending it's life, she sat in the branches and ate the prey quietly. She enjoyed the relaxing sway in the trees.

Coalpaw blinked open his eyes with a start cold sweat permeating though his black pelt. He had been sleeping after a late-night patrol but just before he'd woken up he'd had been gripped in a nightmare in which everything was dark but he could feel his sides constricting almost as though he was being squeezed into a hole which was too small for him. He looked round desperately through the apprentice's den for Flintpaw, his sister, but when he couldn't see her in the apprentice's den he knew instinctively something had gone wrong. He bounded out of the apprentice's den looking around desperately for any other cat who he could tell his suspicions to.
