Talonstar nodded, "That is why I want to give him a chance. Nightwind is my most senior warrior, he has always been a fighter and I pray to Starclan that they will help him." then he thought about Daychaser. He didnt knwo what that cat could do but maybe he could do something. He was blessed by Starclan, maybe just maybe...." Spicefur, Your in charge, remember, do anything you can, anything to save him." he darted out of camp, following Daychaser and Scarletheart's scent trail. He crashed into Daychaser, who was trembling.He nodded gruffly, "You must know by now what is happening. Is there anything you can do, besides killing, that would bring Nightind back in control?"

Aspenpaw trotted over to Talonstar's den. "Talonstar...?" She called out quietly. She waited for her leader to acknowledge her. She knew that it might take a while because he was already with another cat at the moment.

Spicefur quietly dipped her head to Talonstar, and gazed at the fight, narrowing her eyes. She didn't know much about this madness, and wasn't sure how to solve it... Maybe it couldn't be solved. She sighed, shaking her head to clear her thoughts. She stared at the fight again, thinking deeply.

Aspenpaw prodded her mentor with a single, slender, snow-white paw. Her one violet eye and one amber eye gleamed with betrayal, confusion, and a furious light. Shaking her fur, Aspenpaw said, "My brother has been made a warrior already. When will I become one? I have to be a warrior in order to defeat Darkflight!" Aspenpaw said all of this in a hushed tone, worry in her strangely colored eyes. Her upper lip curled in distaste. "I can't believe my brother is this evil, possessed or not!"

Daychaser snapped out of his inner turmoil and looked at Scarletheart, who just asked him a question. "Yes, I am fine." He stood up, but then Talonstar ran up. He listened, then said, " You have to beat him until he is almost dead, and then give him to me." His eyes looked sad. "We must go now, though." He reluctantly started towards camp.

Nightwind didnt bother to answer. Instead he clamped his jaws over Darkflight's upper mouth and nose, and bit down. He used his other front paw to press down on Darkflight's head, digging his claws into the back of Darkflight's skull. He shoved down as hard as he could, pressing Darkflight against the ground.

Fadedkit just stared at him. "So you decide to torment me?" She challenged, her tail whipping behind her, and her claws tearing at the hay. "Why? You have mee kill mice? What are you planning me to do? Go on a mouse killing contest?" She challenged again, her face tinged with angry and annoyance, because her father treated her like she was just a tool, and nothing more. So she decided to say that to him, and see his reaction. "What? Am I your tool? Just a little doll you can control and order around, and train to kill anything in sight? You don't even act like I'm your daughter father!" She suddenly shouted, tail flaring up angrily. "I'm not your puppet dad! I won't be your little spy, that is what your clan if for. Most kits have fathers that love them, and make their life happy. Your making my life miserable because all you expect me to do it kill for Korisclan. I'm only 3 moons old, I can't kill a warrior...I'm not big enough." She argued with him, her eyes slightly hurt, but afraid that he would attack her for saying anything.

Spicefur glanced down at her apprentice, and relaxed a bit, trying to cover up how stressed she was. "Soon." She promised. "I'm going to recommend that you become a warrior to Talonstar after we figure out how to stop this fight. And... Somehow I don't think he's evil, there's another reason." Spicefur flicked her tail, not sure Talonstar would approve of her telling her apprentice. Finally, she came up with an idea and sighed. "Aspenpaw, I recently found out why Darkflight's acting like this. But if I tell you Talonstar will claw my pelt off, but I think you have the right to know. Do you want to know, though?"

Scarletheart nodded, and began racing back to camp again, her pelt blurring, and running so swiftly and fast her paws barely touched the ground or made a sound.

Darkflight yowled as Nightwind clamped onto him, he shook his head to get Nightwind off, when that didnt work he used his back paws to shove him off, then head butting him he bit hard into Nightwind's belly, and then grabbed his father by the scruff slamming him against the ground several times.

Talonstar nodded and followed Scarletheart back, right by her side. He pushed faster once he heard the yowls from camp.

Koris shook his head pulling his daugther close. "First things first, no your not a tool. You are my kit, and i want you to grow up to be the best, and so thus I am trying to teach you. I beagn learning killing methods around two moons, so age doesnt make a difference.I see the potential in you Fadedkit, even if you dont see it in yourself.You can, and with the right training, will be the best, work hard and remember that. Second, I am sorry I cant be a true father to you, my sitiution with the clan is......well lets just say not great.I wish I could be there for you, to be that father that I know you want but I cant, so I am trying to make it up in teaching you." his eyes were dull and filled with sorrow.

Nightwind managed to free himself from Darkflight, but lost a large chunk of skin. He stumbled from the beating, trembling violently, then looked at Dawnstorm. "I love you, my precious queen." Nightwind whispered in his voice, then collapsed. He wasnt breathing any longer.

Cali just happened to come upon the fight right as Nightwind collapsed. She frozen when she saw that he wasnt breathing any more. She took a few short breathes, then yowled as loud as she could.

At the same time, Daychaser froze, his heart breaking. He yowled as he bolted past Scarletheart and Talonstar.
