Nightwind back kicked Springpaw, catching her in the face before he twisted away from Darkflight. He managed to avoid being smushed, but Darkflight got his paw. Nightwind didnt even feel his paw pop, and used his other paw to quickly rake across Darkflights face, scratching his eye. When Dawnstorm broke Darkflight and Nightwind apart, he hissed viciously and yowled loudly, sounding like nails being drug over a blackboard. He struggled against himself briefly, swayed a little, and failed again, then lunged at her, but somehow landed just before Dawnstorm, instead leaping over her to barrel into Darkflight. He smashed his head into Darkflight's nose before jumping back to prepare to hit him again.

Daychaser heard a loud ruckus at camp, and hesitated leaving. "Scarletheart, if you had the choice, would you try to save Nightwind, knowing he will die young and cause hatred and pain, or kill him and spare him a tragic death and save the lives of others?"

Springpaw narrowly dodged Nightwind's foot, but still was forced to get off him. She hesitated for a moment, shooting her older siblings, who had also been forced to get off, a desperate look, like What are we supposed to do?

Scarletheart looked confused. "What kind-of a question is that? I guess... I'd try to spare him a tragic death, and just kill him myself, if I had too." She heard the ruckus going on back at camp, and stood. "I don't like the sound of that... We better hurry back. We can come back and get the prey later." She took off sprinting, heading back to camp.

Dawnstorm started panicking knowing that one way or anyother Nightwind might end up dead. She lept at him again, before Darkflight had a chance she looked at him with her big pleading eyes, "Nightwind, please. Please please calm down. Please fight this, get out of this. you have done it before and you can do it again!" she pushed Darkflight back as he tried to rip up Nightwind again.

Talonstar looked at Springpaw, "Get back, and stay back. Spicefur, let Dawnstorm reason with him...... if it doesnt work help Darkflight get him unconsious. I dont know why this happened right now, but if Dawnstorm cant work it out, we will not kill him. Understood?"

Darkflight paced around his father, waiting until his mother failed at trying to save him and reason with him once again. He had recovered from the blow to the nose, although he was bleed from it. He had a scratch over his eye, but thankfully he had closed it before any permanant damage could be done.

Spicefur nodded, and sat back, motioning for Springpaw and Duskpelt to do the same. Her siblings slowly sat down, eyes glued to the fight.
But... What if Nightwind wins before we can knock him unconscious or Dawnstorm can reason with him? Springpaw thought worriedly. She tried to keep the thought out of her head.

Daychaser didnt move as Scarletheart raced back to camp. When she left, he began to visibly shake. He was clenching and unclenching his jaws as a thousand different emotions hit him like waves against a cliff. He fought with himself inside his head. "He must go to Star Clan, for the sake of all of us." "But he is my brother, I owe him." "Everything you have been through, was it all in vain?" "I saved many cats' lives! Why can't I save the one important to me?!" "It is not to be, he must die for others to survive. You are a medical cat, you know who you can save and who you can just help ease the pain before death." Daychaser trembled even more.

"Move, filthy wench!" spat the body of Nightwind. It wasnt Nightwind's voice who said that. "I will KILL that insolent kitten, Dawnstorm, kill me! and then you are next!" The small blood capillaries in Nightwind's eyes were bursting from the rage and struggle inside. Blood tears were starting to run down his face, and a red drop came from his nose, though it hadnt been hit. Even though Darkflight was bigger than Nightwind, Nightwind was still bigger than Dawnstorm and most of the other cats that surrounded him. He waited for Darkflight to pace away from his mother, then tackled him, fighting in mid air for a moment before landing on the ground and kept fighting. Nightwind scratched the underside of Darkflight, tearing off clumps of fur, then parting, puffing himself up to look bigger. Pausing only a second, he launched at Darkflight again. "I will kill you, then I will kill your mate, and your kittens, and your mother, and everything I can get ahold of! I will kill you before you kill me."

Cali felt something in her heart squeeze, and knew something was wrong. She jumped from the tree and bolted towards camp, but knew she was going to be too late.

Scarletheart slowed, noticing Daychaser wasn't following her. "Daychaser?" She asked carefully and softly, slowly padding back. "You okay?"

Dawnstorm fell into a small heap, shocked at everything. Nightwind couldnt die, he just couldnt!

Darkflight grinned, not feeling any pain. "So 'father' why have you finally cracked now?" he said while tearing his paw down Nightwind's chin. He was waiting for the answer while biting Nightwinds front paw and scratching his belly with his hind paws.

Talonstar shook his head, "Spicefur." he paused not wanting to continue. "Spicefur, if for some reason Darkflight and any other cats cant....help Nightwind, i want you to make sure that if Nightwind does not get cured, he dies. I dont want anyone in this clan getting hurt, but this is just a last resort ok?" he sighed ready to pounce on Nightwind if needed.

Aspenpaw was riduculously sad and bored. She hated her brother. She wished he would go away. She used to love her brother very dearly, but that was before she found out how evil he was. Aspenpaw knew that Darkflight had killed Rowanpaw before Juniper possessed him, and she still blamed him harshly for her friend's death.

Moonkit was lazily taking a nap, her silver fur glittering and her dark gray stripes looked almost black in the dim light of the stuffy, comfortable nursery.

Falconkit couldn't wait until he became an apprentice himself! That would be so exciting! He was gnawing on a squirrel bone while Eaglekit was absentmindedly doodling a map of the forest. Geek.

((actually Juniper had possesed Darkflight by the time he killed Rowanpaw. Really everything that has happened has been Juniper. He possesed Darkflight when he was a kit.))

"Yes, Talonstar." Spicefur said, standing, getting in a crouch like she was ready to spring. She hesitated. "But it actually looks like Nightwind is trying to fight it, doesn't it? I heard him say, really softly, 'Dawnstorm, kill me!'...."

Springpaw followed her sister's example, and also crouched, but she didn't look like she really wanted to fight. She looked scared and confused, making her look almost like a kit again. Duskpelt also crouched, his expression unreadable, but he really didn't want to kill Nightwind either.
