Chase nodded, "Well a good walk will take your mind off things." he said, hoping his words were true.

Cirroco slowed his pace to a steady trot, his paws beating in perfect unison once he got closer to whatever he saw. The trees, tall and green, seemed to get closer to each other with every stride he took. He had to dodge branches to get through, and dodge other tree trunks one passing the branches. He started to get irritated with the heavy foliage and instead climbed one of the trees, his claws digging into the bark with ease, and rested on one of the branches, narrowing his blue eyes into slits at the huge wall of trees ahead. Taking a breath, he pounced from the branch he was on to another one, slipping but catching himself, and swung to another, then another, then another, until he was facing the wall. A snarl threatening to appear on his handsome face, he ran up one of the trunks and clung to a branch up high, sniffing at a limp leaf that just so happened to brush his nose. Grunting, he stood on top of the branch and looked at the rather dull, dark looking plain on the other side of the wall.

Sheba skirted around camp, picking up bits and peices of conversations. Her ears perked at a particular one and she sat to hear the full story. "So the alpha couple is expecting pups huh? hmmm..." Sheba continued to hone in until her curiousity was satisfied. She got up. "It was amazing what you could find out when no one paid attention to you...

Lillian chuckled.
