He smelled the air hoping to find his brother but there was no trail. "I smell Crow, Rat, and a very faint sent of rabbit" he mewed hoping he was right.

Softfeather nodded, "yes but there is a very stale scent of fox, but very old."she shook her head hoping he would smell that but nodded. "Let's continue," she walked quietly.

Nightkit sighed. "I guess.... I'll just wait for my proper time." She said with sad frown. "I'm going for a walk." She stood up and slipped out of camp. She would prove that she was strong. Her ears perked for prey.

He resented the air and found the fox sent. He always wanted to impress his mentor but right there he felt he failed. "Okay" he mewed with a nod and continued.

Nightkit smiled. "No one will ever no we're gone." She said, tail flicking. She heard some prey in the bushes. "Hey it's big prey." She scented a rabbit. "Lets get it." She weakly pounced onto the rabbit that was bigger than her. She tore more into the rabbit neck. "Help me!"

"Hehehe okay" She mewed and jumped on the rabbit but fell off. "How do you stay on?" she asked and jumped again but once again she fell off. She didn't want to hurt the rabbit she felt like rabbits were connected to her for some reason. She would never eat a rabbit.
