Shauntal turned over the strange stone in her hands. She had been surprised when Hope gave it to her earlier. It was smooth like ice, and radiated with a soft coolness. Hope told her that she had found it outside, but Shauntal sent her to her room shortly after because she had heard pokemon talking about dangerous beasts appearing around Alola and Shauntal wanted to keep Hope safe. What if they come here? She wondered. She suddenly felt sick with anxiety. If the beasts reached their home, Shauntal and Hope would be forced to either hide and risk being found, or leave and risk being seen. I hope they never reach here, Shauntal thought.

yami quickly nodded in agreement as midnight talked about legendaries, and his mind began to wander. was midnight going to talk much longer? he looked off into the forest, over the marshadows head. then he heard him say something else... what was it? yami quickly looked down at midnight, and saw that he was looking up at him expectantly. what had it asked?! the murkrow smiled a nervous smile, and said, "uh... yeah?"

"oohhh..." yami tilted his head, and said, "well... usually everyday around the same time i perch in that tree over there..." he turned a bit, and pointed with his wing. "you know.... the one you were standing under? anyway i always perch there. and i live around here too i think." he looked around quickly, and turned back to midnight with a slightly panicked look on his face. "somewhere around here, anyway. and why are you here? because, like i think i said before, ive never seen you or another pokemon like you in this forest before."

Buzz buzzed away high above the treeline above Ula'Ula island. He was enjoying the breeze go by as he glided, floating on his thin, powerful wings. He continued to fly until something caught his eye. Someone was down on Mount Lanakila, almost level to where he was flying. It was a group of pokemon, and one of them was much bigger than the others, looking like a large bug on very thin legs, and with it a group of pokemon, including a Marowak, and a Sneasel. Curious as he was, he zoomed around by them, still quite a distance away, and swooped in closer with ease, having absolute control, even in the strong winds at such an altitude.

"you just are, huh...." yami repeated, while staring at midnight. honestly, his answer was vague, and yami was suspicious, but yami was still scared of getting beat up by the legendary pokemon, so he thought intently about what to say in response. it was a while before the murkrow lifted his head quickly, and said, "i hope you like it here!"

"oh! if youve been here a while, i wonder why ive never saw...you....." his voice began to trail off when he realized the marshadow looked like it was in deep thought. "hey! um.... are you there?"

yami nodded his head vigorously. "yeah, i understand completely. usually i... dont hang around other pokemon. im not very, uh.... very good with others." he briefly leaned in and added, "plus, most of them are really annoying." he stood back up, and looked around at the canopy. "usually, i stay here because not a lot of other pokemon come here...... so when you just came and sat under my tree, it kind of annoyed me just because that never happens here."

Sneasel-

Sneasel blinked softly. She was going to alert them with a description of the Ultra Beast that had swiped above her eyes. But she looked at the blue bug. "What's n' that?" She said. She grew up in the mountains, knowing only the Pokémon commonly found in the region. Of course, she knew other familiar used Pokémon like Arceus and Charizard that were merely popular in tales and in Trainer's discussions. She didn't recognize the bug, but she tried not to be stupid. Maybe it was a Pokémon in the region she just blantantly forgot about, that didn't live near the area. A Marowak was on a snowy mountain, because of Ultra Beasts. Maybe this Pokémon had came here because of them, too. She whispered to Sasha. "Is this a Pokémon found here in Alola? I'm not very good at keeping track of 'em..."


~Tapu Lele~

Tapu Lele was falling asleep near a riverbank. She felt calm, at peace, with no intruding problems that she had to interfere with. She peeped an eye open, seeing little baby Pokémon like Happiny and Bonsly and many others playing games with each other. Everyone looked happy. She shed some of her glowing scales over the frolicking Pokémon. They giggled and cheered. They loved visiting and playing with Tapu Lele. They were fine dealing with her slumber, because they somewhat understood the hard work of a Pokémon. She remembered stories of what some of the Pokémon told her. Did you know about the legend of Mewtwo? Or Did you know some Pokémon like Exeggutor look different in other places? She finally slumbered off after daydreaming.

Buzz hovered a little closer and grinned smugly. Oh, there's no one like me in this region. I'm one-of-a-kind. I was buzzin' around and wondered what you all were doing up here. Normally Marowaks aren't up here in this part of Alola. He didn't move his head, but was easily able to scan his eyes across the group of pokemon. He set his eyes on the large figure, another bug-type-looking pokemon, large, white, and slender. Woah, there's a treat to the eyes. Who might you be, beauty bug? he asked the pokemon, unaware he was talking to the Ultra Beast Pheromosa.
