As the kittypet spoke once more, Tigerstar tensed. This she-cat wanted to know more about the Clan? She wanted him to show her all of their secrets and ways only for her to go running around to tell tales to her kittypet friends. The very thought brought a small growl to his throat. "Our Clan is not here to entertain kittypet rumors. We are masters of this land, and we are here to survive. Unlike you, our food is fresh from the hunt, not dry kibble poured into a bowl," he sneered. "Now, you need to leave our territory. Your humans are bound to come searching for you, and I will not have humans trespassing on my Clan's territory," he stated, his claws obviously visible at this point. He did not want to be rude or mean, but he had to protect his Clan.

Hearing the growl from The tom's throat and seeing the sharp claws Jenna knew this tom didn't like her much. What did that have against kittypets? Jenna looked betrayed as he told her to push off. "My owners won't be looking for me.. as long as i return before nightfall.. you won't have to worry about them" she spoke quietly, stepping back a bit. She looked at the mountain behind the tom and sighed silently. "What's so bad about showing me around? Showing me your ways?" She asked innocently, keeping her eyes on the mountain with a yearning look.

Tigerstar stepped closer to her as she stepped back, his claws still unsheathed and clicking against the rock as he walked. His tail whipped behind him as she spoke, though he did notice that her volume had dropped. Still, he did not trust her, much less want to bring her to around his Clan. "Kittypets do not belong in a Clan. To show you around would be a waste of both of our times. The only way that you will ever get the chance to know the Clan is to be a part of it," he growled. She was persistent, he had to admit. But he still needed to do what was best for his Clan.

She flattened her ears as he pursued her movements. She frowned a bit, though she held her ground firmly. "then how do i join." she asked abruptly, her tail flicking. she was determined to know more about them and she wasn't going to let this tom scare her away. There was so much she didn't know and so much more she wanted to know. why was he being so difficult? Her own claws wanted to come out but she held them back out of habit. She hated using them.

Tigerstar pinned his ears back as she inquired about joining the Clan. He tensed, his eyes narrowing to slits. "You cannot waltz into our territory and assume that you can just join our Clan, kittypet," he growled, "besides, your humans will come looking for you at nightfall, just like you said. The last thing that we need is a bunch of humans trespassing on our land." His claws screeched lightly as they scratched against the rock beneath his paws. "You wouldn't know the first thing about living in the wild," he muttered bitterly, turning his back to her, his tail flicking angrily behind him as he began to walk away.

Jenna's ears pressed themselves tightly against her skull as the sound ran through the air. How unpleasant. Now glaring out of frustration her jaw dropped as he started walking away. "I'm not assuming, I'm asking. I want to join the clan.. so tell me how i can." She persisted, running towards him and stopping in front of him. She looked him dead in the eye, a determined smile on her muzzle. "Tell me what i need to do.. i can get rid of my humans, no problem.. I want to join."

When the she-cat jumped in front of him, he had to hold back his paw from slapping her. His eyes glared angrily at her, but she held a certain spirit that he remembers having himself when he was only a kit. Tigerstar glanced at Eagletalon, then back at the kittypet. "You can live with the Clan until you can prove yourself fit to join it," he growled, "and know that you will have to change everything. No more humans. No more hand outs. No more Jenna." Tigerstar gave her one last look before weaving around her to continue on his path with Eagletalon. "You can stick with us for now," he muttered. As an afterthought, Tigerstar turned to look back at her to add, "and the first rule about the wild: don't ever jump in front of an agitated leader."

Jenna's face instantly lit up as he finally gave in. She was going to live with a clan! A real clan! She jumped up and down nodding with everything he said. She could leave her owners no problem, adjusting to not having a garenteed meal might be a bit rough but she would manage. "Oh thank you!" she laughed, ignoring his last comment with a bright smile. she bounded around the tom a few times before finally just walking at his side. She looked around in awe even though the scenery hadn't changed much. "How many cats are there?" She asked him curiously, not bothering to look at him since she was more interested in her surroundings.
