Fang stood up and walked over to them.
River followed Fang.

Zuvan stared at the horizon as the sun finally dissolved into nothing, leaving only dark purple clouds in it's wake. He felt that something major was going to happen. He locked his legs into place, knowing that, whatever happened, he couldn't run from it. He had to stand his ground and fight.

Adisa looked to the little white cub, his heart filling with admiration. He looked once again like the large adult from Adisa's dream, and he swore he could see the billowing mane and powerful muscles. He smiled. He knew there was no way they could lose.
((the battle should extend until the eclipse, I have a great idea. I hope you don't mind))

((since Zuvan is deaf, I thought he could have a sort of special sense. I wanted him to be able to purify dark auras, which is sort of like digging into someone's soul and finding their kindness, which isn't hard to do for an adorable white cub))

((it's actually quite natural for animals to have extra senses, and white lions are said to be touched by God in tribal myths, but, I know what you mean. it'll be more like he can affect people by being utterly adorable, and being able to sense their feelings and intentions))

The humans came close enough to see the lions.
Feather saw the humans and growled, "Humans!"

Adisa placed his tail in front of Feather. "Not yet. Wait for them to move first." He watched them carefully, seeing their blades and guns, and knowing that they could do a great deal of damage if they hit, so it would be best to wait, and dodge when they made their move.

Zuvan examined the creatures before him. They were dark, their hearts and souls buried in a shadowy mist of greed. He took a step back at first, looking up at Feather and Adisa, then back to Rose. He looked at the humans again, and pinned his ears against his head, stepping forward again and standing his ground. He had to do this, he felt it in his soul.
