Goldenstar looked at him and assessed him. He looked quite strong, and she noted with amusement the same different colored eyes than her. "you will have to be an apprentice first, so we can assess your strengths and weaknesses, and so we can train you on clan ceremonies and so on. Do you agree?" she asked him.

"How do you feel about fishing?" Mudsplash asked as he had tracked the mouse scent to a burrow. There was no way he could dig it out. "I'm sure we can catch some fish down by the lake. At it's warm enough to dry us off if we happen to get wet."
