Maplestar padded back to camp, along with the loyal medicine cat, Rainwhisker. She felt as if her heart had grown wings like a bird and soared to StarClan itself. "Rainwhisker, Justicestar spoke to me! Of all cats, the first leader spoke to me!" she gave an excited bounce like she were an apprentice again. As they neared camp, the new leader yowled, "Let all cats old enough to hunt gather by the highrock for a clan meeting!" She leapt up to her new perch. The deputy was going to be revealed.

I smiled, proud of the new leader. "You're going to be a great leader." I told her before she jumped onto high rock. When she called for a clan meeting, I stayed where I was and just sat down on my haunches as I waited for her to speak.
