hareleap was about to respond until he was cut off by owleyes, eyes wide and cheeks hot. wh-what? pardon me? I-I.. what? he stammered, fur fluffed and ears pinned. the tom was confused at first, blinking slowly with his mouth gaped open. he glanced over at skystar, noticing that she was barely keeping herself together. he relaxed a little but was still totally confused with what the elder had said.

The elder laughed. "Oh i`m just messing with you! But, i wouldn't mind you hanging out with me one night, i am very fluffy, plus, it gets lonely in there." OwlEyes looks at the leader and says"Oh how you look wonderful today as well SkyStar! Your beautiful orange fur is still lovely as always. OwlEyes takes a tiny bow and goes back to HareLeap "its not to late to take that offer, what do you say?"

Morning rising done, Greyfeather stood and wandered over to the entrance of their camp. He dipped his head in greeting to the senior warrior. "Good morning. Did you sleep well, Appleblossom?"

Shiverpaw smiled at Lakepaw's returned greeting. She opened her mouth to question him about the strange greeting when the third member of their trio appeared. "Morning, Willowpaw!" Her tail flicked in greeting. They'd always been pretty close, even when they were kits. Even though some of their paths were different, they were still going to learn together! "Are you guys excited for today? I know I am."

her expression faltered at lakepaws unenthusiastic greeting towards her. willowpaw glanced down at her paws briefly then pulled a smile back on her face as she brushed against shiverpaw. "im kinda excited, i dont know what dovecry has planned today..." she murmured.

goldenclaw yawned as he exited the warriors den and looked around the camp as everyone began to wake up. he sat down near the nursery, quietly waiting for his mate to wake up so he could bring her something to eat. he had a sort of routine every morning, share prey with his mate, then go on a patrol. he had gotten used to it for the past few moons.

appleblossom yawned and smiled as greyfeather approached her. "good morning, greyfeather. i slept alright, how about you?" she asked as kindly as she could manage.

lafayette stepped out of the small door (made especially for him) out into the yard of his den. he smiled and hopped up on the fence post and looked around the territory in front of him. he had never traveled to far into the forest after hearing rumors of the angry forest cats that really liked protecting their territory.

hareleap nervously laughed, relieved that the elder didnt mean what she said, at least he thought. well, skystar will be in the elder's den pretty soon. hareleap joked, winking at the she-cat and trying to keep the conversation off of him. he silently agreed that shystar's fur was lovely, still tense from the recent exchange of words. eheh, im good, the warrior's den is lovely enough. he brushed off, smiling with embarrassment. he didnt want to be rude, plus he did not want to sleep with an old furball.

Skystar's muffled giggles stopped abruptly at that moment. She tried to find appropriate words for the situation, but was at a loss. She jokingly narrowed her eyes at Hareleap and flattened her ears before finally letting loose the laughter.

The silver warrior slept on, as usual, through the morning. His paws and whiskers twitched as he dreamt. Occasionally, one of his legs would stretch out and accidentally prod another warrior.

Frostgaze stirred, blinking away the blurriness in her vision. She yawned, hesitating a few moments before laying her head down again and closing her eyes.

Lakepaw simply shrugged. He wasn't one to talk a ton, even around his friends. As one of the shyest cats in the Clan, he usually used dips of his head or flicks of his tail to communicate - unless it was necessary to speak, of course. He had tried to gather the courage to talk to others more because some cats would tease him, saying he didn't know how to speak or was born without the ability to. Lakepaw looked around the camp, trying to catch sight of his mentor.

DoveCry

DoveCry finishes sorting out the herbs. She notices they were out of Borage Leaves so she heads out the den and walks towards WillowPaw. "WillowPaw, sorry to disturb your conversation but, we`re out of Borage Leaves, will your grab some? Oh, and look for some Beach Leaves, a couple broke yesterday." DoveCry looks at WillowPaws friends and adds "Morning ShiverPaw and LakePaw, WillowPaw, you can bring your friends if you want."

OwlEyes joined in the laughter. "Young cats sure are shy these days aren't they? I`m not saying i`m old though, they`re just a couple moons younger then me". OwlEyes had laughed to her hearts content, "Well i`m quite hungry this morning, will you care to join me on a trek to the fresh kill pile SkyStar?".

hawkleap just chuckled, joining in the other cat's laughter. he settled down as he wasn't invited to 'trek' to the fresh kill pile but that didnt bug him one bit. the tom stretched once again and began grooming himself.

"For the most part, yes. This pesky little bug kept biting my tail though." Greyfeather glanced between the entrance and a strand of sunlight against the trees. He'd always been an impatient one. "I wonder what we're doing today."

She seemed to sense the bit of distress in Willowpaw, giving her a reassuring smile. "It's so cool that you're gonna be a medicine cat. You get to learn about so many neat things!" Shiverpaw gave a quick lick at her chest in an attempt to smooth some of the messy fur there, although it didn't really help that much. Such was the life of long fur and restless sleep.

The words from Dovecry caught her attention. It would appear they too would get to help out. Excitement welled within her at the idea of it. "Morning, Dovecry!" She looked to Lakepaw to see if he too was excited.

"Er... alright then...." she sighed, not wanting to refuse the elder. She began the 'trek' to the fresh-kill pile. It was mere fox-lengths away. On the journey, she observed the goings-on in the camp as more cats began to wake.
