Sunlight crept into the small cave, waking the leader. She stretched and yawned before rising from her den. Surveying the clearing, she realized no one else was awake yet. She padded to the entrance of the camp to watch the sunrise, see the light sparkling on the fresh snow.

The silver warrior slept on, as usual, through the morning. His paws and whiskers twitched as he dreamt. Occasionally, one of his legs would stretch out and accidentally prod another warrior.

Frostgaze stirred, blinking away the blurriness in her vision. She yawned, hesitating a few moments before laying her head down again and closing her eyes.

The young apprentice woke, stood, and was swiftly out of the den like usual. He was almost always one of the first ones awake. Like Skystar, he enjoyed seeing the sunrise.

hareleap's head sprang up as he was prodded in back the by blizzardstone, mumbling curses underneath his breath as he blinked his amber eyes open. he stood up quickly, he hated staying in bed, there were always things that he could doing. the tom's pelt quivered as he stretched his muscles, he slept near the front of the den because he always woke up early and he didn't want to annoy his sleeping clanmates.
hareleap strode out of the clearing, absorbing the warmth of the sunrise even though his paws sunk in a blanket of snow. he spotted skystar and bounded over, carefully picking up his paws. "good morning." the warrior meowed, flicking his tail in greeting.

DoveCry was already up. She had plenty of work to do since she didn't think her apprentice would be up yet so early in the morning

OwlEyes

OwlEyes stretched inside the roomy elders den. She liked having the space to herself but it was rather lonely. OwlEyes grinned as she padded out of the elders den and out onto the snowy ground of the camp. Who should she flirt with today?

Halfface lay in her nest, a small circle of fir branches, pine, and various other species of evergreen with the occasional feather. She slowly opened her pale green eyes as the need for sleep gradually faded, her pupils thinning to slivers of black as they adjusted to the light. The chimeric cat stood, stretching for a moment before sitting and glancing at the still-sleeping bodies warriors either sprawled or tightly curled in their nests. She noted that Hareleap's nest was empty with a lazy glance before carefully stepping over and around the sleeping bodies. Emerging from the den, she moved to the side of the entrance. Sitting, she decided it would be best to set her thick fur straight, and licked a paw before drawing it over her head, folding her ears back as she did so.

Although not first to rise, Greyfeather was a fairly early starter. He enjoyed the morning sun and fresh scents of dawn. Which, he had argued plenty of times, truly did have a specific smell. The tom emerged with a flick of his whiskers, stretching each limb to shake sleep from his form.

The little she-cat wasn't far behind the morning risers, slipping from the den with a yawn; she shook herself to get rid of any clinging dust and leaves. Her pelt was messy like usual in the mornings but she would tend to that later. Shiverpaw made her way towards the other apprentice. "Good morning, Lakepaw!"

OwlEyes

OwlEyes trots around camp but then spots HareLeap. "now here's an interesting cat." OwlFace says to herself quietly as she begins to make her way towards the cat. "Is he talking to the leader?" she wonders a loud. An idea comes to her head. "Hey there HareLeap, where`d you go this morning? I thought you were cold last night and wanted to sleep with me? OwlEyes says in a mocking tone and adds "Am i not fluffy enough for you?". The elder laughs in amusment. Sometimes she finds it weird she used to be the medicine cat.

willowpaw awoke quietly, glancing up towards her mentor before she sat up in her nest. she flicked little pieces of moss from her fur and stood up letting out a quiet yawn. she smiled to her mentor quickly. "i'll be right back!" she chimed and hopped out of the den smiling as she saw her two friends. her eyes lit up and she bounded towards them. "morning!" she chimed to the others.

goldenclaw yawned as he exited the warriors den and looked around the camp as everyone began to wake up. he sat down near the nursery, quietly waiting for his mate to wake up so he could bring her something to eat. he had a sort of routine every morning, share prey with his mate, then go on a patrol. he had gotten used to it for the past few moons.

the she-cat stirred in her nest and slowly sat up, stretching her legs and glancing around the den as it got less and less full. she sighed and stood up carefully and left the den. her eyes scanned the gathering cats and she made quick eye contact with willowpaw before looking away and going to sit near the entrance of the camp.

lafayette stepped out of the small door (made especially for him) out into the yard of his den. he smiled and hopped up on the fence post and looked around the territory in front of him. he had never traveled to far into the forest after hearing rumors of the angry forest cats that really liked protecting their territory.

Skystar's ears swiveled around, pinpointing the sound of Hareleap's voice before she turned her head and smiled in greeting. "Good morning - " she was interrupted by Owleyes. Of course, the elder had some flirty comment to make, and Skystar found it difficult to hold in a laugh.

Lakepaw jumped a little at Shiverpaw's greeting, turning around quickly and smiling shyly. "G-good morning, Shiverpaw..." he stammered. He couldn't help but think how cute she looked with her pelt all messed up. Wait, what was he thinking? He was still just eight moons old, for StarClan's sake. He shook his head to clear his mind and stared at his paws. He briefly looked up when Willowpaw approached and murmured a 'good morning.'
