swift left her little 'nest' under the tree and trotted away, off to hunt. she could smell the strong scent of the clan that was nearby, but did her best to focus on catching prey. as she was searching, she caught the scent of a cat - but not the familiar clan cat scent - the cat smelt different. it must've been a loner. the she-cat followed the scent of the cat, and finally saw it - a ginger long-haired she-cat. swift hid behind some bushes, watching the cat.

Copperbrook strolled along silently. A few crunches of leaves and twigs were heard here and there. He was getting awfully close to the clan camp nearby, but he didn't mind. He meant no harm; however, the clan cats might not think the same thing. A well-built rogue tom can be intimidating. So he turned a different direction and let out a soft purr to show his happiness, even if no one else was around to hear it.

hearing the slight rustle of bushes, fox dragged her eyes from the bird she was stalking as it flew away. snorting, she stomped off into the direction of the sound. yeah. trying to hide? well, you scared my prey away, so you aren't that good.

swift growled and jumped right over the bushes so stand in front of the other cat. "you seriously cant blame me for that? even i could hear your paws thumping the ground, so i guess we're as bad as each other." the she-cat hissed.

ha. the nerve of the strange cat. "thumping?" excuse me, but if i was "thumping" i wouldn't be catching birds. that's probably the clan's dawn patrol going by.

Sweetdrop twitched slightly as he saw Ravenflight heading out but didn't say anything. He wondered idly where she was going and if he should follow... Oh right! Patrols were definitely warrior related and probably what he had been trying to remember. The tom pried himself out of his nest and padded slowly out after the older warrior. "I'll come too!" he mewed.

The loner retreated to her den to consume her catch. Gossamer didn't believe in straying from her home for very long, too dangerous and unnecessary. Aside from leaving to eat or drink the she-cat tended to spend her days draped over her rotting log, staring into the woods. It was a bit too close to the clan's border for her liking, but, well she couldn't move now. The mouse was gone in a couple of bites and she leaped onto the roof of her den to keep watch as usual.
