Cardinalpaw stopped behind the black she-cat and took in the scents around her. "What are we gonna do first?" she asked her, looking around the area. She's been training for two moons now, but the territory seemed to be changing, as it could be due to less twoleg interference as the whether was getting cooler.


Oceanstar
Oceanstar nodded a 'you're welcome' and stood up. "I'll call for you two when we're leaving, I'll be back" He thought now was a good time to go secure the border around the boardwalk, as it wasn't as hidden for a patrol to mark. However, the boardwalk harbored certain herbs, therefore it needed to be a claimed territory.

Shellheart smiled and rolled around playfully "Of course! I love hearing stories!" She meowed excitedly. She quickly realized that she was no longer a kit or apprentice. "We're going to practice on battle moves." Oddblaze stated as she turned to face her apprentice. "Based on what you know, you are going to demonstrate some battle moves. Yes, I haven't taught you many moves, but I'm sure you've at least seen some while growing up. This is just a review revolving around your knowledge."

Hearing his name, the tortoiseshell tom's ears perked up and caught sight of Wavemist calling him. Beesting approached the she-cat with the seagull in his jaws. He set the seagull down onto the sandy ground and spoke. However, there were some downy feathers on his muzzle.

"Well, I was going to drop this seagull off to the fresh-kill pile and continue hunting. Maybe you can come hunting with me? We can hunt for more seagulls and share one amongst ourselves. I appreciate the invitation, though."

Patrol! Downypaw suddenly straightened up and tried to make sure there weren't any parts of his pelt sticking out. He was giddy, but nervous as well. Sure, it wasn't his first patrol, but whenever he was invited to one, the young tom always felt like an eyesore to the patrol. It was like a flock of proud, battle-hardened gulls or sandpipers, except he was the one with the ruffled feathers and a weak frame, or at least, he felt like it.

At the sound of his name, The black-and-white apprentice followed Wolfpaw as the two headed towards Greystorm. Anxiety pricked at his paws as he met up with his mentor, his pelt suddenly feeling all ruffled. Another chance to feel welcome and worthy, Downypaw often told himself.

Blue eyes blinked against the sunlight, tail flicking and paws twitching. The young she-cat was waiting beside the apprentices den, searching for her mentor with a clear gaze. Nacrepaw sighed, and daintily raised a paw and lapped at it, then drew it over her ear. She was aware that she wasn't clan-born, but she was also aware that she was making good progress.

Nacrepaw wondered why her father even bothered to have kits with a kittypet. She'd been told countless times that such act would mean breaking the warrior code- so why do it? The pale brown tabby-and-white apprentice remembered her father's reply from many moons ago. It was because of love. The answer had baffled her- even to this day. Now the she-cat wondered about her siblings. Do I have any? Ah, it doesn't matter.. I've got a clan. Is that better than having any siblings? Suddenly, a prick of impatience clawed through her. And where's Riverwing?

"So am I."Sagemint replied with a lash of his tail."I've been trained to fight."he stretched a bit."Alright.Borders this way."he began to lead to the way.

The loner followed after the warrior, keeping his claws out in case this was a trick. Though he'd never admit it out loud, Falcon was actually quite nervous.

Sagemint lashed his tail as they went on in silence. Finally the border came into sight and he stopped by it."Here you go."he was a bit hesitant to let the tom go

"Bye, Oceanstar!" He says contently, trotting off. Foxstreak moves to make his way over to the patrol group, excited that they were gonna go on a hunting patrol. The Tom eyes Wolfpaw a bit.

"Nah" The Apprentice lies. She could've sworn that she had smelled that scent before. She knew that cat. The Calico looks at Mallowmist, flexing her claws a bit.

The fluffy dark brown cat sniffs through the rocks. She's looking for the fish she had nabbed. Sigh. It was gone. A bird must've gotten it. Mella was quite disapointed, as she was hungry. Well, she could always catch a bird- oh! There it was. She eats the dead fish contently.
