"I think so, I haven't noticed any cat out," AShenbriar said, now looking around camp, concerned that some cat was still out in the storm.

Smokepaw // She-cat // Apprentice // crush: Cherrypaw // tags: Cherrypaw
Smokepaw swallowed. "Yeah! I mean, I don't mind occasionally getting my paws wet, but this is a bit much! A cat would be pretty crazy to go out in this," she rambled on, eating all the while. "I sure hope it doesn't last all that much longer, I want to do another patrol!"

Mallowleap opened her mouth to protest when Hornetclaw said he'd go and find Rainfall. She didn't want to cause any unnecessary trouble for anyone. The medicine cat having to tend to her wound... Which wasn't too bad was it? Surely she could just leave it alone and it would be alright. She didn't want any other clan mates thinking she was being weak due to her small size. And then there was Hornetclaw having to put the time and energy to find Rainfall for her rather then just relaxing himself, she felt absolutely useless and hoped no one else was thinking the same thing she was. She gulped, trying to at least make herself presentable, but it was hard when she couldn't stop shivering. Odd. Why did her head feel all fuzzy and hot when she couldn't stop shivering.

That's when she heard the call of Heatherstar and she frowned, she didn't want to move... At all. Hornetclaw had told her to stay put, but the leader had asked the clan to gather. After a moment she slowly pushed herself to her feet and limped towards the Warriors den entrance slightly dizzy. She poked her head out before laying down just outside the Warriors den to listen, she did her best not to rest her chin on her paws too much; but her eye lids were feeling heavy. The one thing that was preventing her from falling alseep was the ache and sting from the cut on her shoulder.

RiverWhisper || Tags?: Open!

RiverWhisper yowled. He could feel mud creeping around into his mouth, ears, and nose. He felt the crushing weight of mud and rocks bearing down on him with mighty force. One last yowl for help escaped him before he was buried beneath the mudslide.

Ashenbriar suddenly froze, quickly turning to Littleheart. "Riverwhisper isn't here!" Without thinking, the tom ran out of camp and into the storm. He heard a cat yowl and he made his way as quickly as he could to the source. "Riverwhisper!" Ashenbriar yelled out, spotting the mudslide and digging frantically to save his clanmate. Soon, his paws hit fur instead of mud, and he tugged the other tom out. Quickly, he used his paw to scoop as much dirt out of Riverwhisper's jaws as he could and held his ear to his mouth, praying to Starclan that he would feel breath.

RiverWhisper heard faint digging, and felt Paws collide with his pelt. A familiar face brought him to the surface, scooping mud off him. RiverWhisoer took a dig inhale, sitting up he coughed up dirt and mud serveral times. He looked at AshenBriar gratefully. "Thanks AskenBriar. I owe you one." He coughed a few more times, standing feebly to his feet.

Nightclaw padded to the clearing, and sat down beside Marigoldpool, looking up expectantly at Heatherstar.

Quietpaw looked up in surprise as Heatherstar's voice echoed across the cave. She bounded over with Foxpaw at her side, settling down.

Dovepaw nodded, deciding not to question Sandwillow's words. As she crossed the threshold of camp, she heard a voice, and hurried over to settle beneath the ledge. Dovepaw glanced over at Sootpaw, a question etched in her eyes. I wonder why Heatherstar called for a gathering?

HeatherStar || The Clan

HeatherStar sat down, gazing out at the clan. "You are all probably wondering why I called you together. I called the clan together today to say no more patrols will leave camp until it is safe. Until the storm has passed. We have a dry shelter in the cave, and we will all stay here until the storm is over." Without another word, HeatherStar vanished back into her den.

Ashenbriar moved to his side to give his a shoulder to lean on. "Let's worry about that later, and get you back to camp so that Rainfall can look at you right now," he said, still worried.

Smallbrook sat and looked up at Heatherstar, nodding at her words.

Boulderpaw looked up from where he sat next to Bluepaw.

Swallowing the last of her prey, Smokepaw glanced over at Cherrypaw then up to Heatherstar. "Agreed," she said, shivering as she remembered the storm.

Nightclaw suddenly noticed a hissing noise issuing through the quiet after Heatherstar's announcement. The deputy hurried over to where Fogpelt was standing, to look into the hollow in the cave wall where the nursery was. "Oh StarClan," Nightclaw meowed, aghast.
