With a yawn the warrior stretched in her nest. She looked around noticing most warriors where still asleep. She carefully padded around sleeping warriors and then out of the den. Maplewillow noticed a few others where up an about already. She dipped her head towards a few of the apprentices and then at some warriors. "Good morning." she meowed. She enjoyed hunting and hoped maybe to be sent out on a hunting patrol that day.

Swiftshadow padded a bit in front of the other two toms, not wanting to intrude on their conversation. He kept his senses high, looking around frequently to make sure everything was alright. Border patrols where done often, making sure cats where able to find their way back to camp and not get lost in the never ending forest.

The young apprentice let out a small hiss as the sun began to poke through the apprentice den. Sootpaw lied there for a few moments, not wanting to get up. He sat up and began to clean himself before leaving the den. He grumbled a bit on his way to the fresh kill pile, slightly nodding towards cats who said hello. He hoped today would run smoothly, so he could relax for the most part. However being an apprentice meant training.

The blue she-cat gently rubbed noses with Dovepaw before returning to a sitting position. She wrapped her tail neatly around her paws before speaking. "I slept fine. Confusing dreams as always, but it was nice." she purred. "How did you sleep?" Bluepaw asked.

Littleheart wasn't one to sleep in, as she always felt that she had an important duty to perform each day and didn't have time for sleep. The previous day, she had gone to bed early to wake up before dawn so she could hunt before the sun rose. The young warrior padded into camp carrying her catches: a small mouse and a slightly larger sparrow. The forest wasn't usually active with prey at night, but Littleheart begged to differ. She placed her catches on the fresh-kill pile, then her eyes fell onto Maplewillow. The two she-cats weren't particularly close, but they weren't complete strangers either. Littleheart approached the warrior with a gentle smile. "Good morning, Maplewillow. How has your morning been so far?" She asked her, trying to make small-talk.

It was a rather dreary day in the forest this morning, one that Oliver would have preferred to be inside. His thin fur didn't protect him at all against the cold, and he woke up shivering in his nest of already cold moss. He stood up and shook his pelt free of the raindrops his fur had collected in the night, then wandered away from his nest and into the clan territory. Hopefully, prey would be bountiful there. He trekked through the trees, being careful not to alert any prey or clan cats.

sorrelcreek nodded at ashenbriar, walking past the tom and out the cave, wanting to get going already. he glanced backwards, seeing them following him. he winced as the rain wet his long pelt, now he'd have to groom himself later so his fur wouldn't get matted- what a pain.

wasppaw listened to spottedfire as she explained how she was hunting a shrew. he didn't fully understand it and looked down at his paws, then back up at his mentor. "is there an easier way to know where the prey is exactly? I don't want to be pouncing in a completely different spot." he looked back down, almost ashamed to ask questions like this. he felt bad for any mentor he had, it was such a pain to teach a blind cat.

"I hope you two don't mind a quick pace," he said, quickly walking besides Sorrelcreek, grimacing because of the rain.

Boulderpaw had high respect for his mentor, even though he could be a little annoying and rude at times, and decided he would ask for advice if it was being offered. Swallowing, he asked, "How do you talk to she-cats?"

Spotted fire smiled and touched her nose to his ear gently. "I know you can do it wasppaw." She said. "I would recommend listening." She perked her ears and heard tons of prey scuffling around "perk your ears, open your mouth to sense the prey.. What can you hear and smell.?" She said, being patient with the young apprentice.

wasppaw smiled at his mentor's kind voice, looking up and scenting the air like she'd asked, opening his mouth a little and listening closely to the forest. "I can smell.. a rabbit, but it's farther away. I think I can hear a woodpecker too," he thought for a moment, looking around to get a better smell. "there's a squirrel right over there." he said, nodding over to a skinny, grey squirrel on the side of a tree.
