Coyotestar finished his mouse and sat up, licking his lips. "My pleasure" He knew he was being a bit overprotective of the tall queen, but felt inclined to do so. He was used to looking after the whole clan, but it was nice having another cat to care for closely.

Squirrelfur sighed, before quickly attacking a queen's nest, tearing out all the old moss. She replaced all the moss with the new moss and then went on to do another nest, until they were all done.

Loganfrost nodded, he wasn't feeling great today so even one rabbit would be hard for him to catch today.

Fallowstream thought for a moment. She didn't want to discourage her apprentice by choosing something too hard, but didn't want to bore him either. "Why don't you choose?" She suggested.

The large feline quickly finished the rabbit in only a few more bites. Nightflower hadn't realized she was even hungry before she started eating. Coyotestar's tendency to look out for her is what drew her towards him and led to her developing a fanciful crush on the leader. She wanted to believe that maybe her feelings were reciprocated since he kept finding reasons to come by and check on her but the logical part of her brain reminded her that it was a leader's duty to know how all his clanmates were doing.

Coyotestar looked at Nightflower for a while. He didn't know why, but he had, ever since he had first seen her, fallen for the queen. He found himself hoping against hope that she would have a successful kitting, and no t get injured or worse in the process, as too many other queens had done.But then again, so many queens had kitted easily.

Nightflower shifted her gaze away from Coyotestar after realizing that he seemed to be staring at her for some reason. She knew her appearance wasn't exactly one that most cats would see everyday so there was the possibility that he was only staring because of that but no matter the reason it still caused the queen to feel a bit awkward and her face to grow warm with a light blush.

Bumblepaw's grin returned when he heard his mentor's comment. For some reason, he found it a bit funny. Probably because she whispered it like it was some big secret. The tabby hurried after her when she began to leave, stumbling and falling to the ground after only a few steps. He was back up on his paws only a heartbeat later though and resumed following. Since falling had plagued him ever since he could walk he had gotten quite used to it and it usually didn't bother him but he did end up with a lot of bruises and the occasional scratch of he happened to tumble into something sharp such as a thorny bush.

Coyotestar glanced away quickly, noticing that Nightflower had noticed him looking at her. "I..I'm sorry" he mumbled. For some reason, being around the she-cat had made him think less able it his actions. Noticing that she was blushing, Coyotestar had the thought that maybe she liked him too.

Fallowstream was glad that she had made Bumblepaw happier again. She slowed down a bit so that her apprentice could keep up with her easier. He seemed to be coping pretty will with it though.

"Is there something you want or...?" Nightflower asked, trying to avoid letting an awkward silence just fall over the two. She also didn't want to just tell him that it was okay for him to stare because it did make her uncomfortable when cats stared without knowing the reason why they were staring. She wasn't deeply offended by it or anything but if it had been any other cat besides Coyotestar she likely would have confronted them a little more directly about it.

Bumblepaw was able to keep up with his mentor easily enough once she slowed down. As long as he took things slow and cats didn't rush him to move faster he had learned to get fairly alright control over his disability. Being unfocused or experiencing a strong emotion such as fear or intense excitement led to him stumbling and falling even more often than usual still though. His just had to keep his attention on his movements and try not to get so worked up and he was usually alright.

Altas had decided to stay in his den, he hadn't been getting much sleep and wanted to catch up on it. He circled around and padded his paws on the ground trying to find a comfortable spot.

Nightflower didn't respond right away. She was trying to decide if she wanted to take that leap and say something about her feelings towards him. But that risked their entire relationship turning sour if he didn't share those same feelings. Before she could really make up her mind though, a sudden sharp pain in her stomach caused her to gasp. "I want you to get Minnowreed." She said in a hurried tone.

Bumblepaw dropped down in a strange looking crouch. His hind legs were stuck out strangely and he wasn't down nearly as low as a cat should be to make a proper crouch but he was afraid that if he got any lower he would fall over. Already he was shaking because of the effort it took to remain this in control of his body enough to stay in this position.
