"When were you interested in herbs?"Splashfeather joked in a friendly voice, her voice muffled by the herbs. She put them down. "I saw a large clump that was somewhat near a two-leg nest. I couldn't just ignore it as herbs are very important. I grabbed them quickly and saw no trouble."she answered and wondered if she should tell Doestrike about Taylor

Doestrike smiled."Since I was talking to Nightsong earlier." Splashfeather was always so light-hearted. She wondered why Splashfeather came from the direction from the two-leg place. Doestrike looked at her rabbit she caught. She realized it was getting heavy. "I better put this back at camp." she mewed. "Do you need to collet anymore herbs?"

Splashfeather shook her head."I just needed marigold. Besides I need to make sure all the injuries are healing well."she decided it would be best to tell her about Taylor."I know this was stupid of me, but I talked to a cat named Taylor. He said he had a sister named Doe."she hoped that Doestrike wouldn't be mad

Squirreltail~Jayclan warrior - shecat - 26 moons - outside camp ~ Owl, Doestrike, Splashfeather

"Squirreltail," said the she-cat simple and short and kept quiet for the rest of the way. She thought about where she might find Beestar.
Coming close to camp they bumped into Doestrike and Splashfeather. Squirreltali smiled, Doestrike will have to do I guess,she thought, happy that Owl won't be her problem any more. She could see that the two were talking, but this was an important mater, so she padded to them and greeted them not trying to be rude. "Hello Doestrike, Splashfeather." She said and dipped her head. She never really liked Doestrike, she was an outsider... Squirreltail thought that she was not fit to be the deputy of the clan, she was not a true clan cat and a bit young in her opinion. She turned around and looked at Owl. "I found this loner at the border, her name is Owl."

[Esther~]

Splashfeather looked at Owl."Are you okay? Any injuries?"she asked the loner kindly

"Nice name," Owl remarked. Strange, though, she thought, walking alongside the warrior. After a few minutes of walking, the two walked towards a few other cats. Suddenly feeling overwhelmed when she heard Squirreltail introduce her, Owl stiffened. "Hello," she said quietly. That all stopped, though- one of the cats spoke to her kindly. "No, I was just.. hunting," she mumbled. Dropping the mouse to her paws.

[Esther~]

"You sure? I have some marigold right here and I can treat any injuries you may have. I know the life of a loner is tough."Splashfeather knew that there were many dangers. There were foxes, badgers, and dogs that could attack a cat if they were unlucky. Another loner could have been hostile and attacked as well, though there was no need to worry if Owl said there were no injuries.

Owl was intrigued by the kindness of these cats- most of the cats she'd met were either hostile, or feared her (mostly housecats, in those scenarios). "Nothing much. I have a scratch on my ear, but I wouldn't want you to waste your herbs on something so small." She'd gotten the scratch while hunting the mouse- is was small, just from a large thorn, but it was fresh and it stung a little.

"She is fine Splashfeather." said Squirreltail a bit irritated. She knew that medicine cats didn't really care what clan they belonged to when it came to injured cats. She lashed her tail and looked at Doestrike expecting her to do and say something.

Splashfeather looked at the scratch,ignoring Squirreltail, and gave it a few licks to try and clean it. She then grabbed a bit of marigold, chewed it up and trickled the juice into the injury."It may seem small, but if it gets infected then you'll regret not getting it treated."
