Soot nods and she flutters around and then hops over to the queen and hands her the weapon. "You can inspect it first if you wish"

Lyvinna nods. First she puts the battle claw on, testing it's weight, then puts the other one on. She flies around the burrow a bit, then lands next to Soot. "Soot, I am very impressed. You are, I think, one of the best blacksmith I have ever seen. Well done. Do as many as you can, and tell me if you need any owls to help you."

Soot smiles a little. "Naieve made a few of these as well, also... if you wish for me to make even more, then I might have to recall the old battle claws we have stored so I can reforge them, I don't have enough material to add the spikes and make brand new talons...." She flutters over to her metal storage. "I am going to need to go out and get more metal pretty soon"

Naieve nodded and remembered something. "Near the hollow I used to live in before I came to the tree, there was a huge dirt field with lots of iron..."

Soot nods faintly and turns to look at the queen again as she flutters around her burrow. "Would it be alright if I could take a leave with Naieve in order to bring back iron to make weapons with? I will bring a few weapons with me just in case" As she flutters around her burrow she is grabbing things to take with her, she puts on the helmet on and grabs one of the spiked talons and puts it on, then she looks around and pecks at the wall of her burrow, moving dirt out of the way and revealing a stock of gold flecks. "Just in case we run into any traders" She picks up a few gold flecks and places them in a small bag made of a mouse skin, which she slips around her neck. (A personal 'purse' for her) and then she covers up her gold stash again with the dirt she moved. "Alright, I'm ready to go" She smiles and stands near the entrance of her burrow.

Naieve followed her outside and nodded. "My home was on the border between tyto and the beaks.

Lyvinna nodded and stood aside as they prepared. She waved them goodbye. "good luck and be careful! You never know where the pure ones could be!" she cried, hoping they had heard her.
