Josh woke upon his bed, his drawing pad upon his chest. He placed it on the side table neatly with his pencil on top. Standing up, he stretched out a tad bit, and walked over towards his window upon his apartment. He opened the curtains to let some light shine through. Then he walked over towards his kitchen to make himself some toast.

Jack was still frowing.
His paws where in his back, with one of his small fists clenched.
Is there a problem with being new? Is that why she's frowning?
Or is there something about me that she doesn't like?
He thought quickly and his other hand played around with his Cha-bracelet.

I should probably ask her.

He said, almost growling 'problem' accidentally.

Brooklyn made quick work of her apple but still was hungry. She sighed the owner would kill her if she found out she went out during business hours. No one came at this hour plus she could just make a quick trip to get something. Putting on her shoes she quickly exited the shop turning the break sign on and locking up. Now where should I go she thought to herself. There was either the grocery store or the coffee shop. (This open-ended to jump into anyone just say the word)

Jack's frown grew a little as he got no response.
"No words? Is it that bad...?
Well, then I know when I'm not wanted!"
He spat as he went out of the coffee shop.
So much for getting there..

He put his hood up, his green hair poking out.

The small bat was a little pissed. Even more because he didn't have coffee.

He walked quicker, looking at the floor.
He should call Mark, that would make his day.

He quickly grabbed his phone, unlocked it an texted Mark.
'Hey there Markimoo! You awake?'
He typed quickly.

Since he wasn't looking bumped into someone.
"Hey! Wat- Ah! Sorry! I wasn't looking!"
He blurted out quickly. Dropping his phone by accident.

Brooklyn thought back and forth between each place not really sure what she wanted. She hadn't realized she stop right in the middle of the walkway till she felt something bump into her. She looked around to see a bat that was clear frazzled and apologized for what had happened. "No worries I was standing in the middle and didn't give you much room to pass," she calmly said reaching down to pick up the phone he dropped. He hoped the thing did break into piece or damage they seem to love to do that on you and that always made picking them up fun.

Jack smiled a tiny bit, and grabbed the phone from her hand.

It was a red panda. Almost his size, wearing casual clothes.

He looked at his phone.
The edges of his septic eye Sam phone case where a little damaged, but the phone itself was safe and sound.

The screen with his text still showing in the screen.

"Oh no! It's not your fault! I just distracted!"
He loudly apologised, with his accent not hidden, like usual.

He looked at the shop she was closing.
A book store! He loved reading, did she own it?
"Hey, sorry if it bothers, but do ye own the shop? Just curious, of course!"
He asked with a silly smile.
