He responded. Looking away from her and looking back at the shelves.
He was looking for more space books.
Maybe he could buy a few!

Brooklyn went back to reading once she heard that. She was curious what he was reading and looked up judging from the shelf it had to be space. That was an interesting topic there were so many things to learn out there. She shook her head to get out of her greek mode and went back to reading.

Jack saw a huge book.
Maybe bigger than his head? Not counting the ears!

He went to grab it. Which was hard thanks to his height, and book being in a higher shelf.

We he finally grabbed it. He got another problem.
It's heavy! Well. Kinda.
When you have your arms extended and you're basically jumping.

He wobbled back and forth, trying not to fall.
And.. succeeded!
He got the book to his arms.
A space encyclopedia? SWEET! He'll love it!

Brooklyn almost up from her seat seeing Jack trying to get one the biggest books in the section. She felt her muscles tense as she watched. Once he got it off she release a breath she hadn't realize she was holding. "You know I can get books for you if they are too heavy and next time you can use the ladder," she suggested making sure her tone didn't sound rude.
