tired of sitting, Turtle lays down. watching Sparrowkit play.

Blizzardpaw poked his head out of the apprentices den. "What was all the screeching about?" he asked, pulling himself completely out and shaking the moss from his pelt.

Sparrowmist gave him a look, and flicked her tail, indicating for him to follow.

Sparrowkit tumbled around camp giggling. She tumbled over to Blizzardpaw, "That was me." she squeaked.

"I see." Blizzardpaw got up and followed Sparrowmist, wondering where she was taking him.

Sparrowmist padded up to an old oak and sat, eying the apprentice. "I'm sorry for dragging you out here, but I wanted to escape the cacophony of the camp," she apologized. "Either way, you want to hunt?"

Blizzardpaw shrugged. "Sure, why not?" He scented the air for a few moment, before vanishing into the undergrowth.

Sparrowmist crept in another direction, looking for prey.

Turtle looks curious "Who is Blizzardpaw?" she asks Sparrowkit.

"I don't know." she shrugged, giggling.

Turtle looks at Sparrowkit... "hey did Moonstar ever say if you could show me around?''

Blizzardpaw kept his eyes on the rabbit, ever so slowly drawing closer. He heard a crack behind him and froze, watching the rabbit in case it tried to run. Fortunately, it didn't seem to hear anything, and the apprentice drew closer and closer until he was a tail-length away from it. Springing from his cover, he landed on the animal's neck, breaking it and sending him tumbling into a bush. The apprentice pulled himself out and shook the leaves from his pelt.

Sparrowmist had been following the sparrow with her eyes for quite some time now. She slowly lifted a paw and dragged herself another step forward, before freezing and watching the bird. It had, unwittingly, flown right in front of her, and the warrior crouched down even lower, before flashing out a paw and slamming it onto the bird. The startled sparrow tried to flee, but it was already too late- the she-cat had her claws hooked in and bit on the bird's neck. The wings fluttered one more time, before going limp, and Sparrowmist stood there, panting, surrounded by a shower of feathers.

Blizzardpaw and Sparrowmist met up at the tree again, each dragging a piece of prey. "Nice catch," Sparrowmist mumbled around her prize. Blizzardpaw simply nodded and padded back to camp, Sparrowmist following.
