Darkpaw sniffled and walked over to the apprentices den, she layed down in her nes and hid her face crying soflty.

Lavaheart was about to say something but remembered she was supossed to sit vigil and instead began to purr and rested her head on Rockpaw's shoulder.

Finchpaw wondered off into the forest. After a few minutes her ears twitched as she heard snarling. She turned around and her eyes bulged out as she saw a large fox slinking towards her.

The fox came step by steop closer. Growling and watching her every movment.

Rockpaw then nodded and walked back to the den.

Darkpaw whipped her eyes clean and ranout into the forest wanting to catch something, when she stumbled upon Finchpaw and the fox. She was hidden in the brush the wind blowing her scent away from the fox.

Rockpaw layed at the nest near the enterence and watched her sweetly.

Finchpaw got her claws out and her fur started bristleing.

the fox lunged forward snapping it's jaws and cought Finchpaw's front arm.

Finchpaw shreaked in pain and raked her claws against the creatures face. Ripping it's eye.

The fox jumped back howling in pain. Snarling with it's blood covered muzzle. Glaring at her ready to go back for the kill
