Duskpaw turned and saw Darkpaw staring at the opening between him. He was about to motion her over when Finchpaw ran into him.

"oh sorry." she said she had been trying to catch a fly that had buzzed by and had ran into Duskpaw.

Rockpaw padded over to her then though 'she's now a warrior and i'll soon be mecin cat. it'll never be' he then smiled his teethe gleaming he licked her shoulder and padded away sweetly.

Darkpaw looked at her paws timidly, 'no one likes me' she though trying not to cry.

Duskpaw stood and walked over to Lavahear. "congradulations." he said merrily.

Finchpaw stopped and looked at Duskpaw. 'what's wrong?" she asked her

'No one likes me" she mummbled so silently she could barly hear it.

Lavaheart stared after him, she knew this wasn't going to work out, but she loved him. she stared up at the stars. StarClsn, why does this have to be so hard? Give me a sign, or something! She thought.

Finchpaw didn't quite hear her and walked off to the apprentice den.

Duskpaw stared at her for a moment then turned seeing she didn't seem to content on listening

Rockpaw gazzed up at the stars aswell thinking 'please Starclan I Love her'.

Two stars side by side glittered brightly in the night sky. "You control yourself, let her know your feelings" A voice that only Rockpaw could hear said.

Lavaheart sighed.

Rockpaw gasped and smiled "thank you so much Starclan he whispered gazzing at the two Stars merrily.

Lavapaw stared up at the stars in anger.Why can't all cats from any Clan have mates? It's just plain stupid! She thought and slammed a paw down into the snow in anger.
