she had slightly dozed off, until she noticed smokekit was missing. ah foxdung. she followed the kit's scent, until getting to the rocky cliff right outside of camp. it looked like the kit had a hard tumble down, because rocks were missing and the kit's paw was enlarged and red. you shouldn't have tried that... great. now your father is going to kill me.

as in seeing the dog, she bolted after it. smokekit was right; it is a small one. batting at it and fluffing up her fur to be twice her size, foxstar scared the dog away and returned to the injured kit. how's your paw? taking another look at it, it seemed very swollen.
