"yes i might be able to do so" dappledlight slowy got up and grabbed the thyme leaves taking them over to the medicine den lying in her bed nice a warm. "i might also need some water too. and my sickness is called aging" she meowed letting a little mrrow of laughter slide out of her. she lied their lapping up her thyme

A sudden surge of fear and panic struck Pondstar like lightning. Her eyes widened with horror, "Oh no.." she muttered. Pondstar had realized that she still needed to perform the deputy ceremony. Her previous deputy had gone missing but was found dead after being mauled by a badger. Frantically turning to Cindershine, she dipped her head quickly, "Sorry Cindershine, but I must return to my duties.." Without waiting for a response from the elder, Pondstar climbed up the Clanrock that stood sturdily in between her den and the camp entrance.

Sitting down and neatly curling her tail over her paws, she lifted her chin and opened her mouth to speak,"May all cats old enough to catch prey, join here beneath Clanrock to hear my words!" The leader patiently waited for her Clan to gather.

Duskflame glanced at Stonewave, "Pondstar is calling a meeting!" he meowed, immediately padding to Clanrock. He flicked his tail for Stonewave to follow him. He sat down fairly close to Clanrock, and looked up at his leader.

After taking the moment to cool down, Pounce arose from his spot and slowly padded out of the barn. His amber eyes looked around curiously, narrowing as morning daylight shone down. Pounce wondered what he could do next.

as pondstar's voice rang out in the clan camp, wolfnose froze and cast a glance at mumblebrook that said sorry! "looks like the rock is going to have to wait," the tom chuckled, standing and stretching his long limbs. "i wonder what pondstar's announcements will be about," wolfnose speculated, mostly to himself. of course, he knew what they'd be about. pondstar had to choose a new deputy, after the tragic loss of twilightclan's old one in the badger fight. the tall tom found himself wondering who the new deputy could possibly be as he sat below pondstar's clanrock, casting her a supportive smile as he watched her above.

when littlebird asked her what her plans for the day were, finchlight found she hadn't given it much thought. at all. she cast a glance to the apprentices' den, searching for hawkpaw, but he was no where to be found. "hm. i think i was going to train hawkpaw a little bit. not sure yet, though a patrol sounds like fun i supp-" the larger cat started, when pondstar's voice echoed throughout the camp. "oh, hey, she must be announcing the new deputy!" finchlight mrrowed, turning back towards clanrock. whiskers twitching in thought, the warrior turned and whispered her political opinions to littlebird with a serious expression. "my fresh-kill's on mumblebrook. they're the obvious choice - young, but not afraid, y'know?" the she-cat giggled suddenly, covering her mouth with one soft paw. "and totally a cutie."

Pondstar's yowl rang in dappledlight's ear she got up her dream cancelled she stretched moaning then walking under the clan rock sitting next to her apprentice with other warriors

The tom bowed his head in head before snapping it back up to hear Ponds tars announcement, "I wonder what it's about." The tom flicked his ears as he padded over sitting I'm an empty spot waiting for Clover paw to join him.

their ears perked as pondstar's voice rose and echoed across the clearing, foiling their plan to have a relaxing rock-search before the day's business got started. well, not so much foiling as putting a temporary pause on it. "she still seems really torn up about the old deputy." they observed quietly, glancing from wolfnose to their leader. "which is understandable, obviously." they added quickly, large gray head tilting as they waited. many of the warriors gathered were very capable in their own right, and they knew that whoever pondstar chose would be a good choice. as they sat, they fluffed up the fur around their shoulders to help both keep in the warmth radiating from their clanmates and protect against the slight breeze that had managed to thread between the group. "i just hope the new deputy sends out some patrols, my paws might freeze to the ground if i don't get out soon."

her head dipped as horror flickered across pondstar's face and she quickly excused herself, settling where she was to watch the ceremony. their last deputy's fate was a cruel one, so it was no wonder that the idea of putting another cat in their place was such an uncomfortable prospect to her. with her curled ears perked and her tail tucked neatly over her paws, cindershine let her soft green gaze scan the gathered cats. after sitting in silence for a moment, the elder rose to her paws and made her way over to the medicine cat, dappledlight, and sat down with a small smile. "have you been sleeping well?" she asked, voice quiet. she'd be quiet once pondstar began her announcement, but it had been some time since she'd had a chance to catch up with dappledlight.
