His paw steps were soft as he heard rustling in the leaves near him. He softly padded forward, breaking his face through the ferns to peer at his foster daughter. What did she have in her paws? A....mouse?! He stood between ferns and smiled down at her. "Tinykit, you caught a mouse?" He whispered, surprised.

Reedheart:
"Wawwy can't stand, so have other wawwy get Softleaf maybe." He suggested on the floor still in pain but hid it well from the kit.

"Owa wawwy?" Jaykit meowed, stumbling over to Stormtail.

Stormtail pretended to sleep. He didn't wsnt to take the kit out right now.

"Yes, I caught it," she meowed, standing up and holding the rather large mouse in her jaws. She placed it infront of her father's paws, and dived over to the hole that th e mouse had been looking in. "Daddy, there's baby mice in there!" She meowed, putting her paw infront of the small entrance.

He looked up at Stormtail and growled," Other wawwy is being lazy and doesn't care if you're hungry, so let me try crawling on the floor because he won't take you." He implied that and was annoyed that he wasn't helping him at all, an with the power in on paw, tried to pull himself out of the den, his other one broken along with his hip.

He padded over with her mouse in his mouth, then drops it beside the hole. "We shouldn't kill them, their just starting life" He turned around and grabbed a large leaf, draping it over the hole. "Go ahead and go back to camp, I have a surprise for you"

"Yes, daddy," Tinykit meowed, picking up her mouse and bringing it back to camp. She had saw many baby mice in that hole.. She had just found a food source for the clan!

"Nonono! You sowe wawwy!" Jaykit meowed, attempting to stop Reedheart from getting out.

(Sowe = sore)

"I will take you," Stormtail stood up and grabbed the kit. He didn't take him by the scruff, but picked him up from his back. H e carriedthe kit into the nursery. "There you go,"he meowed, dropping Jaykit in the den. He went back to Reedheart. Softleaf wasn't even in the den. He just let Jaykit stay there. Stormtail was yired so he couldn't ppaw attention if anyone was in the den or not. "Hes in t he re, happy as anything" he meowed before flopping down beside Reedheart.

Jaykit was freaking out! Softleaf wasn't there!

"How have you been lately?" Jaypaw asked Softleaf walking beside her quietly. Be very careful where he was stepping.

"Fine," Softleaf meowed. "We are nearly at twoleg place " she meowed, sniffing for a scent mark she had made a while ago.
