Quietpaw padded just out of camp, entering the less dense part of the forest. She spotted a purply-blue flower, and smiled. Borage will be useful when Fawnsong kits. Quietpaw thought, and pulled up a few stems, leaving the rest to grow.

Blackstreak waved him goodbye with a flick of his tail. He'd deal with his sister eventually. After all, he knew just what to do to irritate his sibling. Until, he jut wanted to finish the rest of his nap. And with one last sigh and the closing of his yellow eyes, that's just what he did.

Whitenose looked from cat to cat, waiting for a response to her question. When she didn't receive one she nodded and smiled. "Good! Now, let's get going." She mewed happily, getting to her paws and moving out of the camp, tail held high to lead the patrol. She felt a bit more calm about doing such a duty, actually enjoying the responsibility. It's not like she liked bossing around her clan mates so she tried to minimize such effect but she did like the order of it all. "Alright, we'll split off here. Batfang, can you take your group along the border that way? That way the patrols won't clash. We'll meet back here at Sunhigh." She mewed before winking in amusement at the black tom, reminding her much of another grumpy black tom, before leading her cats in the other direction to begin the hunting.

Foxfur glazed around the camp slowly, trying to locate his apprentice Lightpaw. The young tom could still be sleeping. But Foxfur found that not to be the case as he spotted Lightpaw coming his way. He smiled softly. "Good morning Lightpaw." He mewed. The mention of Splashpaw made the older warrior glance up in the molly's direction. "Well... she could but I wouldn't want to take her away from her own training with Rowanstream."

Jaypaw continued to blank out, ignoring the white molly as she spoke more. Jaypaw was a bit out of it though and almost didn't notice the patrol leaving the camp. She scrambled to her paws and quickly feel into step with the group, head down as she sighed. It was there she noted Wasppaw as part of the patrol as well and scoffed. Hopefully they weren't paired in the same patrol. Whitenose announced the splitting of groups and Jaypaw was quick to walk away, taking the lead even before Batfang. "Let's get this over with."

The lone tom sat on the shore of the river, gazing into the crystal waters with a critical stare. The world around him was silent, save for the rushing of the water and the sounds of morning. The silence dragged on, yet Thorn didn't move. Until a shadow appeared under the surface. With the speed of a skilled warrior, Thorn jabbed a clawed paw into the water and slapped the fish out of the river. It flopped onto the shore and with one swift bite, lay still on the ground. Thorn grinned triumphantly at his morning kill and grabbed the fish in his maw, taking it to a more area shaded area before beginning to eat.
