Stretching her front legs out, fluffy tail up in the air, the warrior let out a yawn. Squirrelfire stood up straight immediately after, eyes alert and awake as ever. Skipping by Silverfish and Shadowstep and out to the clan clearing, she looked around brightly, sunlight warming her orange fur with dappled rays of light.

Removing her soft white tail from near her face, Lilacpaw's blue eyes slowly opened as she adjusted to the light streaming into the apprentice den. With a small yawn, she sat up, looking around as she blinked any remaining sleep away from her eyes. Flitting her gaze to Hazelpaw and Reedpaw temporarily, the she-cat got up and walked calmly out into the clan clearing. Sitting down near the den, Lilacpaw began to groom herself, licking her fluffy white fur gently.

Acornfur was already awake. Padding into the clan clearing from the forest, he sat down in the shade as he watched some cats begin to awaken as well as a few who were already awake, such as Silverfish and Brightstar, with his usual neutral gaze. Flicking his ears, he turned his attention to cleaning his pelt, grooming it of any fur possibly sticking the wrong way, although that was rare. Acornfur was nearly always well-groomed, not like he needed to clean himself often at all.

Littlepaw was still soundly asleep in his nest in the medicine cat den. It was weird at first when he settled in the night before, not being among other apprentices for the first time, but he had quickly adjusted to it. It was a lot quieter and more comforting, with the scent of herbs pleasing to his nose. His tail curled up around him as he slept quietly, the tip just an inch away from his nose.
In the beginning there was Squiddy...
Squiddy said, Let there be Tess, and it was so.
He said, Let there be Nick, and it was so.
Squiddy made the Adoptables, and it was good.
He created the Forum, and it was good...
He said to Nick and Tess, "Go forth and tend to your site. Bring many young eager minds to our fold."
Praise be to Squiddy!
