Gently he pushed his kits behind him, tucking them into the bracken with a gruff, "Stay here," before turning to the jolteon and returning her snarl. "Why is it easier for you to accept him than to accept my leaving?" he whispered icily, sliding out his claws in turn, fury clear in the set of his jaws.

Firethorn barely noticed Koki'o in his fury. "I happen to think there is a very clear distinction," he snarled, trying to keep his mew from waking the camp. "Strange that no one though to mention what Umbree is capable of to the clan before inviting him in. You see evidence of what he's done every day! They live under the same roof as you!" His restraint and need for secrecy forgotten, Firethorn jerked his head harshly at the kits quivering behind him. "If that isn't enough for you I don't you'll ever be satisfied!"

Serin woke up. The sun was almost rising, she'd always been an early riser. She purred as she saw Umbree dead asleep. She skipped out of camp to see FireThorn and Ren about to fight. "Hey! What's going on here! You can't fight!" She said. "Is this about Umbree and I?" She asked FireThorn. He's such a coward, leaving his helpless leader behind, his clan behind, all because he won't let an umbreon have a feeling of love. What a jerk. Maybe he should leave. She said. "You're sick! If you are going to fight a queen because I can't love Umbree then fine! I know he's a bad guy! Vesper told me all about him! But I don't care, I love him. But if you're going to be selfish FireThorn then I'll go back over the mountains! Back far away from my brother I've been searching for! So Vespy's clan can stay together!" She said, and ran off to the direction off to the mountains.

suddenly, she bolted. fast. over her limit, even though firethorn was a few feet away. knocking him over, she held him down with her paw. do you understand? this isn't entirely about you. her expression softed, just a bit, before she turned tail and fled camp, going faster than before.

But there was pain in his eyes as he turned and grabbed Breezy by the scruff, herding the kits towards the clan exit.
