She nodded eagerly. A hunting trip this morning would be good, and it would give her some time away from Falconleap. While the two were close, Harrierwing appreciated her alone time. And she didn't want to be around while Falconleap struggled to open the shellfish.
"I would love to join you." she told Oakstripe, the glanced at Sealfur. She hadn't really hunted with these two before, and she wondered what the experience would be like.

She separated from her sister and headed to a corner of the camp. She wanted to crack this mussel open before anyone saw her with it and demanded that she share. She never understood why this Clan desired to feed its old and young first. Surely it was a wiser move to keep the warriors well fed? After all, they were the ones doing the bulk of the work. She was lost in thought for a while as she clawed and bit at the shell, trying to pry it open. From here, she could see her sister socializing with the other cats. Was that Oakstripe and Sealfur? Falconleap still had yet to learn all of their names.

She was gnawing away at the shell of the mussel when she heard footsteps approach. Looking up, it was...Tigerstep. Yeah, that was her name. She paused her endeavour with the shell and shot a smile at the deputy.
"Mornin'." she greeted, not bothering to stand up. She wondered if this deputy would try and send her on some kind of 'warrior duty'. She wanted to get this shell open first before she went anywhere.

She followed the other cats happily, hoping they'd come back with a large haul of prey. Though it was green-leaf, it had been a little difficult to keep the fresh-kill pile well stocked. The Clan was growing quickly, and there were many mouths to feed. They went deeper into the forested area of the Clan's territory. It was cooler here than out on the sands of the beach, and it felt nice to be in the shade.
She looked forward to where Oakstripe and Sealfur were walking. She happened to glance at Oakstripe when she saw her sniff the air. Harrierwing's curiosity peaked.
"Do you smell something?" she asked. She hoped it was prey.
