"Alright. Stop there! Let's climb down! Be careful." He demonstrated him leaping down the branches, and landing saftly on the ground. "Alright. Remember, jump from one branch to the other, and don't panic."

Sweepaw-Leafclan

Trembling, Sweetpaw nodded as best he could and let go of the bark. He twisted in mid-air and landed on the nearest branch with a thud and had to take a moment to re-orient himself. It really was beautiful up there, the trees formed a mottled blanket of green and the camp was bustling with activity. Feeling calmed now he bunched her shoulders and lept nimbly down the rest of the way.

Fallingstar Leafclan


F allingstar padded slowly out of the leaders den. Her past illness had keep her locked up in the leaders den. But she had lost that life and was now back to normal. The crisp air filled her lungs. She had nearly forgotten what fresh air felt like. She could hear Flameheart and Sweetpaw training in a distance. I think I may actually be able to catch my own prey now! She trotted swiftly throughout the forest, her delicate paws hardly crunching or touching the leaves. A small scent of rabbit tugged at her nose. She turned towards the scent and followed it quietly. A small plump rabbit was nibbling on some seeds. She was lucky to see a rabbit this size. Must have been chased from Mistclan. She slid swiftly down into hunter crouch and stalked forwards. She unsheathed her sharp claws and leaped into the air. She landed squarely on the rabbit, sinking her claws in it's stomach. It attempted to kick away but it's spirit died away as she crunched it's spine with a swift bite. She picked it up and trotted back to camp, dropping the prey in the fresh-kill pile.

The tom blinked gratefully, too out of breathe to respond. "Let's," Breathe, "Not," Breathe, "Do that again."

"Of course." The tom purred. "Try hunting again. This time avoid the border." He added.

Sweepaw-Leafclan

"Okay!" He gasped again before scurrying off into the brush. He still hadn't eaten anything, but his near brush with disaster had crubed his appetite for the time being.

Flameheart sighed shaking his head slightly, smiling. "Apprentices." He meowed walking around doing his own hunting.

Sweetpaw-Leafclan

The apprentice was completely tuckered out from the events of the day, and try as he might to hunt his mind kept wandering. A drifting feather or a shiny pebble distracted him easily, and eventually he found himself in a sunny part of the clearing, flopped on his back and staring at the clouds.

Dunleap-Dustclan

The deputy was focused on rounding up the straggling members of the clan, "Come on! Get up, we have the whole day ahead of us and your wasting it!" No den was spared in her sweep of the camp, Dunleap poked her head in on queens and elders indiscriminately.

Hazelnose-Dawnclan

Hazelnose had taken time from sorting through her herbs to sorting through her thoughts. If young cats like Sprucefur didn't see her as a source of comfort she really must be doing something wrong. Not to mention the scene from earlier still plagued her mind, and she chewed her lip thoughtfully as she turned back to organizing leaves and stowing seeds.
