The small she-cat perked her ears as Hawkpaw triumphed over the catch as she dragged her prey into camp, and finally dropped it onto the pile. She sat down, panting. "Starclan, squirrels are heavy." She breathed. She continued to look around for her mentor, Grayfeather.

Hawkpaw smiled, gazing at the cat-sized squirrel. "I bet it is," he mewed kindly, looking back at his friend. He tilted his head, riffling the fur down his spine. I still have too much energy! He thought, as his paws tingled to run through the brittle grass outside of camp.

"Would you like to battle train later, if our mentor's agree?" Hawkpaw asked, dark eyes flitting around the camp, looking for Greyfeather and Sunstrike.

Littlepaw stopped panting, and got up. "That sounds fun. Your mentor is Sunstrike, right?" She asked, her gaze searching the camp.

Badgertooth ran though the forest, Robinfeather next to him. "Turn Left and try to get ahead! I'll see if I can get him go your way!" Badgertooth called out to her, trying to keep up with the rabbit. Robinfeather nodded her head before turning to the left. Badgertooth pushed himself faster going to the rabbits right side, trying to get it to go left. It didn't work for a while, but he was finally able to get it to go where he needed it to. Everything seamed to be in place, but as the rabbit raced towards Robinfeather, the young warrior leaped out to early. Badgertooth slowed to a stop next to Robinfeather, taking deep breaths. "I'm Sorry..." Robinfeather mumbled looking down at the ground. "It's alright, I've made that mistake many times as well. Lets go get that mouse we got earlier and go back to camp. After that run I'm tired." Badger replied giving her a smile and nudging her her.

Hawkpaw nodded, smile fading. He decided to confide to Littlepaw something that had been worrying him."Littlepaw?" Hawkpaw mewed quietly. "I don't think Sunstrike thinks I'll be a good warrior." He said, trying to appear casual about this. Sunstrike didn't seem to approve of much that he did.

The young tom's eyes flickered open at the touch of sunlight on his face. Heronpaw let out a yawn, still drowsy, and blinked several times, allowing his eyes to adjust to the bright light filtering in from the entrance to the medicine cat den. The camp was alive with different cats, Heronpaw immanently spotting Whispermoon and Sunstrike sharing a discussion. The grey she-cat had never disturbed the young apprentice, her motherly personality having a positive effect on him, although the golden warrior was someone Heronpaw didn't like to interact with. Perhaps it was her harsh attitude, but he always felt uneasy around the cat. Heronpaw shook his head, trying to think of something more appealing. Fresh-kill, sunbathing, herbs.. His eyes widened when a pleasing thought entered his mind. His head spun around to look at his mentor, who was busy sorting herbs behind him. "Excuse me, Fallowtail?" The apprentice mewed softly, not wanting to surprise the she-cat with his sudden sound. "Are there any herbs we should restock on?"

Otterpaw limped out of the apprentices den. He looked down at his paw that was hurting even worse today. He had been showing off the night before and hurt his paw. Otterpaw didn't go see the medicine cat thinking it would be better this morning. "Of course it would have to be hurt." Otterpaw mumbled angrily to himself, glaring at his paw as if it had betrayed it. Otterpaw let out a sigh, something like this had happened before when he was a kit. "I guess I'll have to go see Followtail and Heronpaw..." Otterpaw muttered under his breath. He didn't mind two cats, but he hated that he was always having to go into the medicine cat den for one thing or another. Just the other day we went in there for a deep scratch he had gotten while out hunting. Otterpaw muttered a few more things under his breath before limping over to the medicine cat den. Otterpaw stopped just outside of the den, he frowned slightly when he caught sent of the herbs. He disliked the scent of all the herbs and wondered how Followtail and Heronpaw were able to be in there all the time. "Followtail, Heronpaw..." Otterpaw called before poking his head inside the den.

At the sound of another apprentice's voice, Heronpaw spun around to face Otterpaw. Heronpaw didn't feel anything negative about the other tom, though he did feel a pang of dread whenever he appeared in the medicine cat den. Although despite this, they did get along quite well, maybe because of their shared personality traits. Heronpaw flashed a quick smile at Otterpaw before his gaze drifted down to his limp paw, which appeared to be in pain. "Is there something I can help you with?" He asked, even though he knew the answer.

Otterpaw's ear twitched at Heronpaw's voice. "Heh heh heh... Hi Heronpaw." Otterpaw meowed as he limped more into the den, returning a small smile to Heronpaw. "Yeah... I hurt my paw last night... I thought it would be better this morning... But it feels worse." Otterpaw replied as he looked down at his paw. Otterpaw looked back up at Herompaw before he limped a few more steps forward. He held out his paw, being careful with the way he moved it so it wouldn't bring more pain.
