Jaysong buried her prey, then smiled at her apprentice. "Yep" The molly scratched her claws against the slippery bark. "When the bark is smooth and slippy like this, it is a bit easier with longer and sharper claws. But i'm sure you'll get the hang of it. As for catching the prey," she tore a bit of moss off from the tree and rolled it into a ball. The warrior stood back a bit. "You want to be real quiet, if the prey hears you coming you'll have to give chase. And that can be rather tricky in the trees. Stalk like how I taught you to hunt a mouse." she slowly crept towards the mouse, trying to make as little noise as possible. "Keep crawling until you're on the same branch as the prey or you're confident enough to think you can leap from where you are to get it. Then..." Jaysong pounced on the ball of moss, grabbing it in her jaws. "One big pounce! Try to catch it in your paws or jaw so it can't get away and deliver the final bite or blow."

Fernkit blinked open his faint blue eyes. He was surprised by the sudden flash of colour and brightness. He looked around the den, excitedly. I've opened my eyes, I've opened my eyes! The tom-kit searched for his mother. Fernkit looked in amazement at his queen. Her pelt looks like mine! He looked at his brother and sister beside him. They look like me too! He gently nudged his mother. "look mum! I've opened my eyes!" he whispered, not to disturb anyone resting in the den.

Rainwing shrugged,"I have no plans. And sure I'll go with you if we are not assigned anything." She meowed happily and flicked her tail wanting to do something soon.

Branchfall padded over to the fresh kill pile and picked a small mouse out for himself and sat down. He quickly ate his mouse then got up and looked around camp for something to do to help the clan.

Featherpawsaw Pebblepaw and trotted up to him,"Hello Pebblepaw!" She meowed cheerfully and nosed his tail to get his attention. Then she sat down and looked around camp thinking about what today will be like.

she silently crept towards a piece of moss that laid peacefully in a mossy pile
atop the tree branch. her tail slowly waving back in forward as she tried
to keep her balance. once she knew she was close enough she leaped and
attacked the moss pile, happily leaping from the branch with the moss in between
her jaws.

Moosepaw simply nodded and continued circling his mentor, watching his moves. His muscles twitched a bit, ready to leap, but he backed out seeing that his mentor was already behind him again. He turned around, abrubtly, and watched his mentor again. Riverleap was almost right in front of him. The brown tom backed up a bit and leaped as far as he could, trying to hit the tom.

A smile drew on her face as she watched Eskerpaw dart forwards in the forest.
''Guess I'm hunting alone.'' She said.
Cherrystep dove through a thicket west of where Eskerpaw had gone and she followed a path she had used numerous times while hunting. It leads almost directly to Whispering Stream and some burrows as well. She stepped lightly on the undergrowth, careful not to make any sound. You can see why she was named Cherrystep. Light on her feet but not agile. She was silent as the night when she walked.
The golden molly reached the burrow in no time. She watched from the cover of a blackberry bush as the rabbits began to emerge from the forest to eat some tufts of grass in a very small clearing. Her eyes locked on a rabbit the size of a big kit. It's nose wriggled as it rummaged for food. Her body dropped to the hunter's crouch and she slowly moved closer, still under the bush.
One. Two. Three...
She leaped from the bush, practically jumping in the air, and scared the rodents. They scurried around, trying to hide, but Cherrystep was literally on top of them. The big, dusty brown one was frozen in fear as it makes a squeak. She unsheathed her claws and swiped as it tried to get away. It worked since the bunny slowed down only a bit and she was able, even with her poor skills, to catch up with it and kill it with a swift bite to the neck.

"Well, I wouldn't of asked you if I wasn't silly!" I loved joking around with juniperpaw. He was
really good fun and had a good humor. "Today were going to do some battle training, lets see
if you can beat me!" I challenged.

The Abyssinian-looking tom yawned and scrambled out of his nest. Adderpaw quickly made his way out of the apprentice's den to find his mentor, Rainwing.

the she-cat swayed slightly on her slim brown paws. sleep still glazing her eyes. she rolled her eyes playfully at his comment. she knew she was smaller than the average warrior but not that, small. a light smile graced her muzzle. " well I was going to go hunting, until you ever so graciously stopped me in my path." she licked her paw and brought it too her brown hued ear. "I don't know how I ran into you though, your like a wall." she snorted rolling her eyes again. she turned around also looking for pebblepaw, she didn't talk to the apprentice a lot and didn't know much about them. "well you can either keep looking for them or go on a hunt with a pretty she-cat like me?" she said, teasing lacing in her smooth voice.
