"okay." stagpaw mewed, sniffing the air and getting into a hunting crouch. the black tom spotted another mouse between some torn up brambles and crept closer but before he could pounce he realised what a stupid mistake he was going to make. he stood up again and avoided the dead spiny bush to find something else he could catch. he soon found a small chough behind a baby pine and went slowly made his way towards it, haunches down. when he was close enough he decided to pounce, landing square on the bird and before it could struggle, quickly snapping it's neck in his mouth.

the she cat blinked open her eyes to pitch black darkness. she couldn't see anything except an endless
tunnel of shadow, and all of her senses were dull. panic immediately started to flood her, and she stood
up, beginning to run into the abyss. then she bumped into something hard and solid, hitting her head
and falling backwards. everything was dark still, and whisperpaw could not recognise if she had fallen
unconscious or simply hit her head, but her question was soon answered when her eyes flung open and
she found herself lying curled up in her nest.

looking up after finishing his mouse in a few famished gulps, he looked around for his mentor. he soon
located dappleclaw on the other side of the freshkill pile, and he stood up and padded around to her.
"dappleclaw? are we going training today?" he asked, sitting down in front of her before he realised
she was eating. "oh, sorry. would you like me to leave while you eat?" he asked, standing up and
backing away from his mentor.

Cloudstar squinted her eyes as she walked over to highrock. She made her way up the rock, almost slipping off it from how tired she was. When she arrived at the top of highrock, she called out loudly to the clan "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the highrock for a Clan meeting" Her voice may have even echoed through the forest. She waited for the clan to gather below.

Hawkpaw pawed at the glass door wall, meowing loudly to get his housefolk's attention. Let me out, its too hot in here! Someone finally came and opened the sliding door. Hawkpaw burst into the yard, but accidentally missed a stair and plummeted to the ground. "Ouch" he winced, quickly recovering from the fall and standing up. He could hear his housefolk laughing and he sighed, trying to hide his embarrassment. Hawkpaw padded up to the wooden fence and scrambled up it. He dug his claws into the soft wood to help him up. He balanced on the top of the fence and looked at the forest. He still didn't miss the clan.

Flameseeker smiled "I'm doing okay. I didn't get much sleep last night because I was out late last night climbing trees and watching Silverpelt." He knew that was a stupid decision but he didn't feel very tired last night. "How about yo-" he was cut off when Cloudstar's loud voice calling for a clan meeting rang through the camp. "We can continue talking after the meeting" he meowed and padded below highrock.

Jaggedpaw awoke from his nap to the booming voice of Cloudstar. He opened his eyes, yawning widely with a sigh. How long did I sleep..? He wondered. The apprentice stood up groggily, stretching out his legs before leaving the apprentice den. He joined the rest of the clan in the clearing for the meeting. He hoped someone would sit by him this time so he wouldn't feel so lonely.

Stormleaf was just padding into camp when she heard Cloudstar's yowl. What is going on? She went over to Flameseeker and sat down. "Hey Flameseeker."

Hailwing went over to Aspenleap after hearing the cry. He nodded to the tom. "How are you doing, Aspenleap?"

Starlingfoot's eartwitched she could hear Cloudstar's announcement from the clan. Quickly praising Stagpaw for his catch she led them inside the clan for the meeting, sitting beside her clanmates listenjng carefully.

Salmonpaw's ear twitched turning his head to look at Cloudstar. The apprentice got to his paws and padded to the camp center, sitting beside Jaggedpaw and ghe other apprentices curling his tail around his paws.
