stagpaw picked himself up off of the ground and went back to his original position. he tried to attack him mentor once more, practically throwing himself toward her. his front paws landed square on her shoulders, knocking the grey she-cat to the ground. stagpaw then shifted his weight onto the front of his body, trying to keep starlingfoot below him but lost his balance and toppled over again.

The warrior purred, satisfied by her apprentice's tiny progress, "That's better," She stood out and shook the dust off from her pelt, "though, you'll have to be quicker than that to attack back!" Before letting Stagpaw say anything she pounced on him and bounced from his back before pushing him down with her paws. "Use your hind legs to try and push off the attacker off of you." Starlingfoot gently pressed her paws on his chest, letting him try to push her off.

The tom dropped the mouse in the fresh kill pile waving a 'hello' at his leader, twitching his whiskers. He looked around for his mentor before finding her aside the camp entrace.

the small tom struggled to free himself from his mentor's grasp. he pushed as hard as he could with his hind legs, pressing his paws against the grey she-cat. eventually, he managed to push starlingfoot off of him. he stood up again quickly, giving a questioning look to his mentor. "was that good?" he asked.

Cloudstar slowly her eyes, squinting hard as the sun beamed on her face. After a few moment of the bright light burning her eyes, she got used to it. Cloudstar hauled herself up onto her paws. Yawning as she stretched her paws out in front of her. Cloudstar padded to the entrance of her den. She looked around at the camp, able to make out a few cats. She hit one of her eyes with her paws and mumbled silently to herself "Gah! I hate being cross eyed." She put her paw back on the ground. She sat down, still near the entrance of her den. Cloudstar let the sun warm her pelt

Hawkpaw pawed at the glass door wall, meowing loudly to get his housefolk's attention. Let me out, its too hot in here! Someone finally came and opened the sliding door. Hawkpaw burst into the yard, but accidentally missed a stair and plummeted to the ground. "Ouch" he winced, quickly recovering from the fall and standing up. He could hear his housefolk laughing and he sighed, trying to hide his embarrassment. Hawkpaw padded up to the wooden fence and scrambled up it. He dug his claws into the soft wood to help him up. He balanced on the top of the fence and looked at the forest. He still didn't miss the clan.

Flameseeker was already awake. He took a mouse off the fresh kill pile with a single claw and set it out in front of him. Flameseeker took a large bite out of the mouse, slightly gagging as some fur got stuck in the back of his throat. After a little bit, he had finished the mouse, not leaving a trace of it behind. He pulled his arm to his mouth and started to lick down a ruffled patch of fur.

"okay." stagpaw mewed, concentrating on his mentor, seeing were he might be able to strike where she wouldn't expect it. he made up his mind and bounded toward her, but ran straight past the grey she-cat and made a swift u-turn, pouncing on her from behind.

the she cat blinked open her eyes to pitch black darkness. she couldn't see anything except an endless
tunnel of shadow, and all of her senses were dull. panic immediately started to flood her, and she stood
up, beginning to run into the abyss. then she bumped into something hard and solid, hitting her head
and falling backwards. everything was dark still, and whisperpaw could not recognise if she had fallen
unconscious or simply hit her head, but her question was soon answered when her eyes flung open and
she found herself lying curled up in her nest.

looking up after finishing his mouse in a few famished gulps, he looked around for his mentor. he soon
located dappleclaw on the other side of the freshkill pile, and he stood up and padded around to her.
"dappleclaw? are we going training today?" he asked, sitting down in front of her before he realised
she was eating. "oh, sorry. would you like me to leave while you eat?" he asked, standing up and
backing away from his mentor.
