"Jerome?" Kai looked at the water I have to do this, for Jerome-sama! Kai took in her last breath of air and dove into the water. Her nose twitching from the lack of air, but she pressed on. She soon found Jerome and looked at the wolf.

Jerome heard Kai. He knew her voice, and he knew she was there. Purposely, he put his paw on the bottom of the river and tossed mud and gravel into her face. he didn't need to take her life away.

Kai tried to let out a growl, but then she opened her mouth and began to choke.

Jerome turned around in the water. He grabbed Kai's paw and tossed her onto land. In the same moment, he dove back under and grabbed the struggling wolf.

Kai floated slowly to the top of the river, she had been knocked out from the loss of air.
