Fernleaf smiled at her mother, "see mum? Everyone listens to me!" She whisked her tail before padding into the forest.

Blackheart noticed his apprentice looking nervously behind them, "hurry up guys!" He mewed. "Are we going on the patrol or not?"

Rowanbranch got up from his hunter's crouch and stood as he watched Yellowpaw imitate it. "That's a good improvement, Yellowpaw!" He mewed happily giving an approving nod. "Hm.. maybe we'll go hunt; well, unless your tired."

"I smell a few birds over the scent of the water," he remarked and glanced up at the trees, seeing a few birds fluttering about in the treetops. Finally, one landed on the ground and pecked repeatedly, trying to find something. Wildpaw crouched low and stalked towards the bird, going through what he should do in his head again.

He began to pad further away from the large clearing, checking behind him often to make sure his apprentice was still there. Soon he halted and looked around quietly,"Okay, we'll have to get back to camp soon. And, stay around this area."
