"Please, Acornpaw." he begged her. He knew it was important that she stayed here. "The clan will need you here to keep cats in this den safe. You must make sure that this den does not get snowed in." He paused, then padded over to her. He pressed his nose into her shoulder, breathing in her scent.
"I promise I'll come back to you."

She had found some leaves, and used them to close the holes in the top of the log. It stopped lone snowflakes from getting in, but with both ends of the log still open, the wind still got inside. She knew that she had to block off one of the ends, but with what? Leaves wouldn't work; they'd blow away. Looking out of one of the ends, through the snow she saw a large piece of wood from a dead tree. It was the perfect size to block off one entrance. Knowing she had no other choice, she hopped out of the log and headed towards the piece of wood.

The tom shivered, as he bit down into the small vole he had selected, despite sitting so close to Wildsky, "Shall we go eat in the den?" he asked the other tom "It is getting rather cold.."

The large tom opened his eyes, immediately feeling a cold gust of wind flow through his fur, making him shudder. Wish rose to his paws and stretched, making his joints ache. He felt he would be warmer some place else, but he did not feel as though he could. So instead, he curled up into a tight ball, and closed his eyes.

"For me, it is a mix of good and bad. It is good to be able to relax, and allow others to help you, and feed you. But, it grew rather boring. I was never really happy about the idea of having help. I always thought I was independent. That all stopped when-" She immediately changed her original response, too scared to even say the words aloud. "I realized, I could not always do that. I was getting older and, I did not want to. Everything always changes. There is no way to stop that." Her ears flattened, during a slight silence, "The subject seemed to have finally changed, and I brought it up again." She chuckled slightly then stopped, "I am sorry."

[I kinda want Wildsky and Crimsonfur to become mates soon, because they're really cute, but I don't want to rush it either]

Acornpaw bowed her head, and accepted. Before the tom left, she ran up and brushed against him, small tears running loose from her eyes at thought of losing him. "You promise?"
